I Never Thought You'd Be In My Life (Sebastian Smythe)
Okay, let's get stuff straight.
-This is an eventual Sebastian/OC story
-This will be from Smythe dearest's POV
-Yes, Chandler may be a new character on the show, but he'd actually be at McKinley, not Dalton. Maybe him and Sebastian can transfer! :D
Enjoy!
(Yes, I changed it because I had another idea. So you Klainers can now sleep well.)
Chapter 1
Backstory much?
"Bye Nana! Sammie and I are heading to Frankie's!" I call, the front door shutting behind my younger sister.
"Sebby! Piggyback?" She asks, reaching up with her skinny arms. Laughing, I crouch down, as she lets out a squeal of excitement and clambers on, her dirty blond curls no doubt shining in the bright sun. "Geez Sammie, you put on pounds?" I tease lightly, as she snorts, kicking my side lightly.
"No! I just got taller! I'm six now!" She sticks six small fingers in front of my face, waving them slightly.
"Ah. I see." Chuckling, I shift her up higher, whistling a random tune.
"Sing?" Sammie asks hopefully, squealing after I reluctantly agree.
Words don't come easy without a melody
I'm always thinking In terms of do-re-mi
I should be hiking, swimming laughing with you
Instead I'm all out of tune.
But what you don't know
You lift me off the ground
You're inspiration, you helped me find myself
Just like a baseline a half-time
You hold down the groove
That's why I'm counting-
I feel Sammie fly off my back, and immediately, I've stopped singing.
"SAMANTHA?!" I call, cupping my hands around my mouth, panic evident in my voice. There's a tap on my shoulder, and I turn around to a punch in the face.
I get a glimpse of the guy as I lay flat on my back, nose bleeding. "Smythe, so nice of you to drop by, we weren't sure you'd make it."
Groaning, I let my head fall back against the ground, darkness engulfing my vision.
"Sebby!" Sammie cries as soon as I awaken.
I try to get up with no avail.
Then I realize, my shirt's gone, and I'm shackled to the wall by my left wrist, Sammie facing me from the other wall, perfectly fine.
"Did they h-"
"No Seb, I'm fine." Sammie attempts a smile, but it's not a real one, and we both know it.
"Glad you're awake Smythe." A male voice sounds from the doorway.
"Jack Wells?' I squint in the dim light, trying to make sense of the situation.
"Hey gay face." He smirks, doing a little salute sign.
"I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS?!" I shout, straining against my cuffs. "You would have been wrong then." Jack gives another smirk, this one so sadistic, I shiver. "Cold?" He asks, shrugging.
I scowl, slumping against the wall. "Stand up."
"No."
Wham
Was that my yell?
Now I'm pretty sure my nose is broken, it hurts like hell and it's showering blood onto my jeans.
"Stand. Up." Jack repeats, popping the 'p'.
I struggle to stand up, but I eventually get there, leaning against the wall for support.
"Kailey!" Jack shouts, as a girl about our age peers in the doorway, with a sly grin like Jack's. "Is it my turn?" She asks, a glint in her eyes. "He's all yours." Jack smirks again, and leaves, as Kailey pulls a knife from her belt. Running it lightly across my chest, she winks, as I shiver again. "This will be so much fun."
Pain.
So much pain.
Why does that yell sound so strangled?
Oh yeah. Cause my nose is punched in.
I slide against the wall, shivering uncontrollably, my arm bleeding all over the floor. "SEB!" Sammie shouts, obviously sobbing. "More tomorrow!" She sings, skipping out of the room.
"Now are you ready?"
"Ready for what?" I spit at Jack, still shivering.
"To say you're sorry for killing Zane!" Jack scowls, pulling the knife from my arm and crossing the room to Sammie.
"It was an accident! I didn't know he couldn't swim!" I shout, panicking as he pulls back his hand that has the knife.
My eyes squeeze shut as I hear the blade meeting flesh.
A scream.
A thump.
Jack laughs sadistically and leaves, the door shutting behind him.
"S-Seb, I love you!" Sammie chokes out, obviously in pain.
"Come on champ, you can make it! Don't think like that!" I scowl, forcing my eyes open.
The blade is going through her stomach, and her stomach is bleeding even more than my arm is.
"J-j-just say you love me!"
"Sam-"
"Say it!"
"Fine. I love you Samantha Elizabeth Smythe. Say hi to Mom for me, okay?"
She just nods, before going limp.
The reality hits me.
I am alone in this world.
Yay for new stories!
Boo for sad beginnings!
Just out of curiosity, can anybody tell me the song Sebastian was singing to Sammie?
Or what song the title is from?
Warble On,
Marti
