Math! Math class ends at 2:20 Pm. It is 1:53 PM. How many more minutes before math class ends. I know the answer is 27 minutes but how do I show my work?

you could always show it like 2:20-1:53 but that wont work in some situations

But make the zero a 10, change the 2 to a 1, then make the 1 an 11, and make the first two in the number a one. Get it? I can be confusing sometimes.

make 2:20 into 1:80 (remember an hour is 60 minutes)

then subtract

1:80
-1:53

0:27

which is 27 minutes
