Sisters of Life and Death - Part 4

Back at the apartment i was up Sin, kissing her on the forehead.
"We're home grogeous" i whisper. She blinks up at me and smiles. Climbing out she walks towards her apartment without even waiting for her sister. Who gets carried out of the car by Jaiden.

When we slip inside Sin is standing leaning against the counter, eyebrows raised. Summa wakes up and tells Nick to put her down. The sisters stare at each other.
"So, uh, thank you" Summa mutters akwardly. Sin just watches her, flicking a glance at Nick and then at me.
"Dont do something that stupid again" she says.
"Well, if the situations were reversed what would you have done?" Summa snaps, getting a bit angry. Sin's cold glare freezes her.
"We both know that i could never do what you did Summa" she spits out the last word like its a curse. "Im going to bed do what ever you want" she says flippantly. I stare at her in astonishment. I've never seen her act so cold.

Shooting an apologetic look at Summa and Nick, i follow her into the room to find her crying on her bed.
"Damn it" she mutters, wiping quickly at her eyes.
"Whats wrong?" i whisper, folding her into my arms.
"Nothing she just reminded me that if you....died. i wouldnt be able to save you" she mutters into my neck. I squeeze her gently. Not knowing what to say i kiss the top of her head.
"I love you" i mutter.
"I love you more" she whispers. Once she crawls under the covers i give her a passionate kiss goodnight, laying over her. Finally she groans.
"My sister is in the next room" she reminds me. I nod and stand up.
"Go to sleep, I'll be back soon" and with that i walk out, closing the door behind me.

Nick is the only one in the lounge room when i come out.
"Summa is in the spare room taking a shower" he informs me.
I nod and we stand akwardly for a while.
"So... uh... Madysin really hates her doesn't she" Nick says hesitantly.
I shrug. I dont think she does. i think she just resents her.
"Why?" he continues, i gesture for him to sit down and we do.
"Well you know what Summa can do right?" when he nods i keep going "Well Sin can do the opposite. Instead of bringing things to life she kills them" Nick stares at me increduously.
"Okay then. Remind me never to shake her hand if she's not wearing a glove" i nod and smile. he smile back and then starts to frown.
"hang on. she wasnt wearing gloves when she was touching you or Summa" he states.
"Well yeah. Me and Summa have life so it doesnt work on us" i explain, his eyebrows raise.
"Seriously? Am i the only non freak person here?" he asks.
"You think I'm a freak?" a quiet voice whispers behind us. Nick spins around and stares in astonishment at Summa, who is wrapped in a robe, wet hair hanging down. Tears start dripping down her face. Nick runs around the couch.
"Come here" he says, his arms open. Hesitantly she walks fowards. Hurt still in her eyes.

"I didn't mean it that way. Your not a freak your amazing. Im sorry i said that. Im tired and confused" Nick says quietly.
"Its okay" Summa says and smiles up at nick, who leans down adn kisses her. I have to remind myself that she is the same age a Sin.
"I'm going to bed" Summa announces and walks back into the guest room. I sit down and load up the xbox. Nick sits down next to me.
"Can i play?" he asks. I nod and give him a remote. We play for hours, finally falling asleep on the couch.
