The Darkness In My Heart
A boy raised up in a family of executioners and assassins for the King and Queen of a treacherous kingdom. Taught never to trust anyone, will he find the girl that will bring him out of the darkness and into the light. Or will he be stuck forever in his own pain and suffering while hurting his loved ones. This is the story of Yuurei Kage Rin.......
Yuurei's 12 year old POV:
Yuurei! Wake up now you'll be late for your lessons and training! Phantoms mother, Kamiko called out from the kitchen. His mother was the oldest daughter of the Koroshiya's a well known assassin clan, his mother is a well known assassin in the kingdom, she would be summoned by the King and Queen to execute people who were planning to rebel against them. Of course as the child of an assassin and executioner he would one day have to do the same. Which is why he would be trained by his older brother, Ichiro. Ichiro was chosen to be the one to surpass his father as the executioner so he was trained with all the techniques passed down to generation to generation and until finally he had his own to be able to pass down to the next generations to come. Of course since his brother was to be the next executioner, Yuurei was to be the family's assassin.
Late that afternoon after intense training with Ichiro. Yuurei decide to
run to the top of a small hill near the training grounds. His mother used to take him there before the times of treachery began. They would sit under the Cherry Blossoms with his mother playing her shamisen a 3 stringed instrument, and play short lullabies to him. Of course this all changed on one fateful evening....
Ichiro's POV
"Yuurei! Yuurei!! Where are you!!!" Ichiro shouted, he was looking for his brother. "Where the hell is my brother?!?! Yuurei-kun no baka" (Yuurei you idiot) thought the protective older brother. All he could remember before his brother ran away was trails of blood and a kunai soaked in deep red blood and a scream ''Oh no..." he said. He realized where Yuurei was, he ran as fast as he could to the Cherry Blossom Tree. "Please let me not be too late,please." Ichiro thought and semi-prayed. As soon as he got there, all he saw was a sobbing Yuurei with cuts on his face and his tanto with their family's crest a hell hound with weapons around it,a gift from the head of the Rin's, they're grandfather: Junichi Kichiro Rin. "Yuurei! Are you all right? What happened why are you bleeding so much? Did anyone hurt you? Please tell me you didn't-" Ichiro was cut of by Yuurei "Yes brother, I used Shukketsushi. I had to! They were telling me to prove my worthiness as the family's next assassin but if I disobeyed they would put me into exile. I did it but I misfired and I hit m-m-mom instead." Yuurei finished his sentence with a sob. Ichiro was overwhelmed by this "But if you hit mom then she-" but Ichiro was cut off by the shouts of their father.
"Where is that boy!!! Does he have any idea how worried his mother is!!!" His father the great Katsuo Hideo Rin the eldest son of the Rin clan shouted. He was also the palace's executioner. Ichiro knew his father had a very short temper but his father never realized that this might cause his demise one day. "Ichiro Kenichi Rin, Yuurei Kage Rin where in the world are you! If I don't find you soon I'm setting the ryouken at you!! I don't care if they are your ryouken that I send out you better come here this instant!!!" Ichiro was about to laugh when he noticed Yuurei was out cold "Shukketsushi must have drained a lot of his power and probably being hit by a kunai and bleeding didn't help the situation. I should carry him down to father,or mother won't have a successor."
6 years later after the incident Yuurei's POV:
"I wonder why I've been called to the palace in the middle of my training?" Yuurei thought but he brushed of these thoughts as he saw the palace. "Kohaku, Minoru! Where are the Queen and King,I've been called by them." Yuurei coldly said to the palace guards . "Konichiwa Yuurei-kun you were so small before now you've grown into a young man and your familys blue streak has appeared on your hair just like Ichiro. I see you have even brought Mamoru your trusty ryouken again. Such a trustworthy breed." Kohaku said but Yuurei answered in the most cold way possible. "Kohaku you will address me as Rin-sama I am not that foolish young boy that I was 6 years ago. I asked you where the King and Queen are so where are they!!!" he growled as he said these harsh words. "They are i-i-in the t-throne r-r-room.'' all Yuurei did was leave them there wondering what happened to the sweet 12 year old. "Don't tell Rin-sama this but why is he such a brat huh? I mean he's been treated like-" as Yuurei heard this he threw a kunai right next to the guards next but not close enough to injure him. "Watch what you say before I cut your head of Minoru. I don't want to waste my time with you." and with this he left heading for the Throne room.
As Yuurei enters the throne room he is greeted by the royal duo a truly malicious pair they ruled the kingdom with an iron fist. And since the Rin's and Koroshiya's were the most skilled trackers and assassins they were given the duty to do the Kingdom's dirty work because of the many deaths of the rebels by these two family's the kingdom gained the title: Oukoku no Shinu or Kingdom of Death.
Of course if you followed the kingdom with no complaints you would live a longer life. As Yuurei thought of this he realized what they wanted him to do. "Oh no-"
"Yuurei how are you? Have you been training well?" asked Queen Kazumi Aoki. "Yes, boy has the training taught you any of your family's techniques or have you found out your other "special" gifts?" asked King Nori Aoki. "Yes your majesty I've trained hard so as to be able to serve the Aoki's just as the rest of my ancestors have." Yuurei says while bowing. "You do know why your here Yuurei. I want you to kill your mother." "I'm sorry sir what! That's an outrage! My mother is the best assassin in this whole kingdom! She is the most feared kunoichi and tracker! How could you ask such a-" "SILENCE" "I summoned you here and as a Rin you must do this or you will have to suffer the outcome. You don't want to leave your brother wondering what happened and why you did it do you,Yuurei?" "I'm sorry but your majesty I'd rather suffer for my disobedience then kill my own mother." Yuurei stood up but then was startled by the king "GUARDS! Take this traitor out!!! And make sure he never comes back!!!" Soon 4 palace guards came rushing in they dragged Yuurei out until they reached the gate then suddenly his washi, Akemi flew down to her master she had black wings and blue streaks on her feathers just like how Yuurei's hair turned when he reached 16. So then he was sent out of the kingdom to wander off never to be able to return again all he had was his weapons(his tanto and shoge and other stuff),Mamoru,and Akemi by his side......

Is this the story you told me about? I love it so far but a lot is happening at once. Maybe slow it down a little but other than that, it's a GREAT idea :D
thank you ^_^ I'll try and slow it down just like what you said and I already have chapter two in my head so might come out around the 1st of March if I'm no too busy.

Yuurei's photo does not have blue streaks but white ones so just pretend it's white and I'm nearly finished with 2nd chapter I'm just gonna do some finishing touches and Yuurei's photo when he's 18 is the stories photo (I'm gonna add it right now)
