Evie jones loves her best friend jason. Theyr closer than sibblings. But an accident where Evie discovers he killed a man drives them apart. But what happens when jason cant take that? Jason grabed my arm arm and made a run for it. I giggled as i ran trying to keep up. "Come on Evie keep up!" He yelled laughing. "Come on just tell me jay!" I yelled complaining. He stoped and turned to me. His breathing heavy and deep. "Well it wont be a suprise then will it?" He asked smiling through his heaves of heavy breaths. I sighed and then smiled as he started running once more. Just running. We were running through the woods. People thought me and jason were strange because we liked spending time in the woods where suposedly the old witch lived. Yeah right!
Today was my birthday. My sweet 16 to be exact. And i loved that i was spending it with jason. He was my bestfriend. Me and him met when we were little. Both of us lived in an orphanage and later in a group home. Not that we minded since we stayed together. Many people thought we were sibblings since we looked alike with our black hair well his was dark brown mine was black, and his green eyes and my blue ones. But that wasnt the case. We werent related just lucky to find eachother. Well now jason moved out of the group home since he was 19 now. He promised to adopt me soon but right now he was having trouble paying his bills. He had a nice place though it was too bad he was having problems with money. I didnt mind living in the home. He visited everyday and spent time with me when ever he could. Few minutes earlier he had knocked on my window and convinced me to sneak out with him at 3 Am. My birthday started at 2 offically, or so the orphange said. But whatever i didnt mind running around in the forest with jason. Esspecially since he had a birthday supirise for me.
I followed him, holding on to his hand as i ran behind him. We passed alot of trees, eventually getting into the deeper parts of the forest. The forest was acctually beautiful as you got deeper in. More plants grew and even turned greener. We were in a part that i hadnt been in, id only gone so far but apparently jason has gone farther than i have.
"Alright.. close your eyes.. i spent weeks getting this ready for you.... well its more for us than just you" he said going behind me and covering my eyes. His body was pressed tightly against my back as he walked me forward. "Are we there yet?" I asked after we had walked around for a few seconds taking three turns. "Just a few more feet" he whispered in my ear as we continued. Jason was starting to weird me out. He was the best but somtimes he was creepy. or so my school friends say. They met him once and said he was super weird, but my two girlfriends said he was hot. Which was weird since ive never thought of him like that. But he had alot going for him if he had his own girl paci. Girls that weordly stalked him and tried to get in his pants. I think they have but i guess they wanted more. Gross. Everytime i knew he did someone i told him i wouldnt go anywhere near his room. Like when i slept over sometimes.. so he went an bought a new bed put that in his room.. and put what i call the STD s*.EX. bed in his guestroom so he could do it in there. Gross but i didnt complain since i could sleep in a clean bed. But whatever.
"Okay and now" he said taking off his hands and letting me see. We were in a clear area. There was a stream going by. Probably conected with the ocean, that went by and flowers growing everywhere. I smiled as i saw a two story looking house. Old fashion like maybe early 1900's, newly painted and beautiful looking. " i know it looks old but ive really worked on it to make it as clean as possible.. i guess well be living in the ol' witch's house" he said darkly making me laugh, " come on let me show you inside." He said taking my hand and leading me inside. I smiled as he opened the door. The inside was neat and gorgouse with old victorian style inside. Paintings, furniture and well everything. "Okay.. remember when we use to talk about finding the ol witch's house.. well i found this place and decided hey maybe Evie will love to live here with me... and well got everything fixed. And before you start it does have power.. i bought a few generators that will keel this place running completly for about 150 years. And belived me i googled it... so what do you think? Do you like it?" He asked out of breath from all his talking and running. "You really put alot of work and thought into this house" i started slowly looking around. " and you know what?" I asked turning to.look at him. he looked worried and concerened that i wouldnt like it. But i mangaed a seriouse face.
"Jason. I dont like it." I said making him frown. " i completly love it" i said hugging him. I could hear his heart beating harshly. Probably from the running. " god dont do that Evie. You scared me. I was about to think i did all this for nothing and wasted alot of money" he said laughing. I pulled away from him. " wait. How much money did you spend on this?" I asked completly seriouse now. " just a couple thousand no biggy" he said shrugging. " no biggy?! Jace you spent to much on this!" I said realizing he would have alot more money issues. "But it was worth it to see your face" he said grinning like an idiot. "Jason your broke and you managed to get a couple thousand?!" I said yelling at him now. " how much is a couple thousand anyways?!" I.asked him. Mad now that he had done this. "Evie! Are you seriouse right now?" He explodes yelling at me. He looked fustrated now. " i spent weeks this and your yelling at me for how much money i spent?!" He yelled back, " cant you say thank you and complain about it when im gone and behind my back like normal people?!?!!" He yelled i sighed. " jace dont think i dont like it.. cause i love it i just... i know your having money isues and i just think its way to me much for me" i said not yelling any more. He softened up and his arms for a hug, "come here" he said huging me. " money comes and goes. It was better to spend it on somthinh thatll last than my stupidity" he admited. I laughed and huged him. "Your the best bestfriend ever!" I said huging him. "I know." He said making me laugh. Bestfriends.
