The Darkstep Wolves: Waking Secrets

I watched on as a new little one walked out unsteadily and caught her before she could fall over. She continued to walk over to her father and I sighed uncomfortably. I turned around and ran out through the woods to a spot that I had claimed as mine. I stepped through the brush into the hole at the base of the tree and growled at the fox who had taken it's home in my tree. It ran out with a yip and I sat down in the dirt. I sighed and layed my head down on my paws. My family had been killed,and then I was forced to come to this pack by my old one. My pack had been tired of the way I was ruling so they decided I wasn't allowed to be the Alpha Male anymore.
I stood up as I heard a rustle in the leaves and bared my teeth.
"It's just me!" I cut off the snarling and sat down on my hind legs. My sister walked in and seemed happy.
"What's got you so happy?"
"I heard there was going to be a hunt tomorrow.and I heard that you and I are going to be in charge! Well,more like you would be in charge while I helped you." I shrugged my shoulders and layed down while looking at the entrance.
"Were you thinking about them again?" I shook my head and heard her growl slightly. I closed my eyes.
"I'm sleeping. You might as well go since it would be no use to bug me over nothing..." I heard her sigh and then the leaves rustling again as she walked out.
