Chapter 1

How It All Began

Everybody knew Stacey Holland. She was a popular 15 year old girl at Porter Heights High School. She had an amazing boyfriend named Adam Richards. She would tell everybody at school everything. Except for this one time. Stacey's mother and father divorced when she was only 14. She went to go live with her dad. A few months after they divorced, Stacey's father, Matthew Holland, had become an alchoholic. He was angry more often, and he would always be too busy doing something everytime Stacey wanted to spend time with him. She felt like she didn't know her father anymore. She kept this a secret from everybody at school because she didn't want anybody judging her family. This secret stayed a secret for about 3 months, until something happened that she couldn't keep from anyone.
