Julia

As the seagulls swoop down to catch the new turtle hatchlings, a girl named Julia with red hair and green eyes tries to shoo the seagulls away to help the turtles. Few seagulls succeed in getting their lunch for the day from that pack of turtles. Julia is very nature-smart and loves animals.
After the turtles got to the sea, Julia turned and walked to Joseph’s house to eat lunch. At Joseph’s house she found Gabriela, her best friend. “ Hi, how are you?” Gabriela asked Julia, “Fine, you?” she replied while take a seat next to Joseph at the dining table. On the dining table there are eight pizza slices with sprite and Joseph’s cat, Lenna. Joseph shoos Lenna to her little corner with her own food dish and water.
When the three of them sit, they dig in, Juli first put two slices of pizza and served herself a cup of sprite, Joseph took one slice of pizza to start and a cup of sprite and Gabriela took three slices and munched them down, after her three she took a cup of sprite and drank it until it was bone dry. When Joseph and Julia finished, there was one slice left so Gabriela munched that one down too, taking another cup of sprite. “What homework do we have?” Julia asked, “ I think Mrs. Gubble gave us some short math pages. I remember Mr. Henyan giving us a history project. I forgot what else.” said Joseph. “Ms. Harper gave us some gene pages but I can’t do those because my dad is gone.” Said Gabriela.
Gabriela’s father was a soldier in the army but in one war he was killed, blown up into smithereens by mine bombs. Gabriela’s father died when she was four, and she had never gotten over the pain, but she is better at hiding her sadness now. “What is for desert?” She asked trying to change the subject, even when she is the one to bring up the subject, it hurts her.
“Ice cream” Joseph answered. He stood up and went to the kitchen. After a moment, he came back holding a tub of vanilla ice cream, a tub of cookies in cream, and a bowl of pepper-mint candy.
