Justice for Clove!
I am going to explain why I like Clove! :D
Okay, so I told my friend I like Clove a lot today, and she flipped the fvck out on me. She kept saying how Clove is evil and all that. I am going to step up in a campaign that might just make me president some day. It is called JUSTICE FOR CLOVE.
Clove was born in District 2. In 2, you are raised on The Hunger Games. You are trained your whole entire life to win. Think, people. If you were raised training to do something, would you think it's wrong? Like, if you were raised hunting outside. A lot of people hunt. It's a sport. They see nothing wrong with it, and neither do I. Where I live, there's A LOT of deer. People hunt them. It's population control. Nothing wrong with that. Anyways... Yeah. That was off topic. Cato and Clove don't know killing is wrong. They were never taught that. They were taught it's okay to do that, that it's a good thing. So before you jump to hating Clove, think of what you'd do if you were growing up on all that.
Also, Clove is a woman. She is strong. She can take care of herself. Don't females look up to that? She is proof that girls can be just as strong as guys. In fact, she's a lot stronger than most people in the Games. I personally think the only people who were stronger than her were Thresh and Cato. I'm off topic again... Oops!

And they train peacekeepers in D2 too, so of course they grew up to be brutal and unsympathetic. Peacekeepers just have to be like that to enforce the rules.

i think you can't create an entirely valid point on that one premise i respect your opinion but i mean everyone is different she may have been a sadistic little **** but you dont get to find out a whole lot about her in the book so you dont know if she was evil or not plus she was going to torture Katniss to death until Thresh got to her and she did seem amused at the thought of Rue dying i would have more but im quite tired and i cannot think right now so good night
Well, remember that Clove was born in 2. That's where the Peacekeepers come from. Sure, she may be evil, but what do you expect? I think part of why she was being so evil was to impress Cato. I'm not entirely sure, so don't quote me.
I love Clove, and it's okay if you don't. I'm just saying. Clove has to be evil, though. She was trained to be ruthless. :D

I think that Clove was mad & excited when she was going to kill Katniss because she got jealous of Katniss, and jealousy took the best of her. She tried to tease her to give the audience a good show.
