About Me

My name is Alissa. I am 14 years old and live in the U.S. Softball and basketball are my passion. I am a huge reader and some of my favorite series are the Harry Potter and Hunger Games, of course. I also enjoy the Gone series too. I am tall, standing at 5'11, with dirty blonde hair. I'm very athletic and have never worn makeup in my life. I wear two high mismatched socks and sometimes people make fun of me for it, but I don't really care what I see. I am an optimist usually but I'd consider myself to be more of a realist. People think I'm kind of wacky, but who likes the normal kid? I am beyond obsessed with the Hunger Games and they have become a total part of me. There is not a second when I do not relate it to my everyday life, although I live very well. I appreciate what I have now. My favorite actors and actresses include: all the Hunger Games ones (Especially Alexander Ludwig, Isabelle Furhman, and Dayo Okeniyi) Those not involved in the production that I love are Alan Rickman, Armie Hammer, Heather Lagenkamp, Ken Kirzinger, Chris Marquette, Robert Englund, and Amanda Wyss. I also love music, but mostly older stuff. I idolize Michael Jackson and adore his music. It inspires me. I also like James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, the Temptations, etc.....My favorite song is "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson and I manage to relate that to Hunger Games too because the chorus line is "Annie are you okay?" And im like, lol, no she's being tortured in the Capitol. Not that that's funny. My favorite Games characters are Finnick, Cinna, Haymitch, Annie, and Cato :) They are amazing. I also like Clove and Johanna. I write nonstop and most of my work is from scratch because I do not have enough patience to sit down and edit things. I am eating constantly and still somehow I manage to stay very fit. I swear, if I wasn't active, I wouldn't be able to get off the floor. (lol) Anyway, I love everyone and accept everyone for who they are. People think I'm funny, but I'd never be at the expense of other people.

Fun facts

1. It is rare that I see a movie that doesn't make me cry even if it isn't sad. I relate to the characters and grow attached to them.

2. People call me the "Tower of Terror"

3. I play first base and coaches call me "stretch." I will do a split to get the ball, and elsewhere, I cannot because I will tear every muscle in my body lol.

4. I play center in basketball.

5. My favorite color is yellow because I love bright things!

6. I am very smart as other people tell me. I have all A's on my report cards and try to give back as often as I can! I love History and Science in school.
