Lovkinja 'wwyff' chapter 2

by: AbigailAlberta

This is the second wwyff quiz I've posted for Lovkinja, please enjoy :)

Disclaimer (Englewood, and Gold Coast are real places- although I have not been there myself after researching I came up with the same information, no offence to residents of the neighborhoods).

  1. 1

It was a cool night in Chicago as I glanced down at my watch I groaned realizing I had another hour of slinking to do before I could call it a day and pass out in my room, done hunting.

  2. 2

The minutes seemed to tick by slowly as I sauntered around empty backstreets, my eyes freezing as they made contact with a suspicious sight: two guys.

  3. 3

Okay, there's thousands of people in Chicago and tons of boys, but from the look of them they didn't belong in this part of town, at this time of night, arguing in a dark ally in the middle of

  4. 4

Keeping my eyes on them I walked along the shadows trying to see what they were fighting over- walking closer I saw something pressed against the back wall of the ally- A woman..

  5. 5

she seemed far older then the boys at least in her late twenties-early-thirties. What was more interesting is what they were practically yelling.

  6. 6

Sneaking up I hid in the shadows at the mouth of the ally listening as one of the boys growled angrily at the other,

  7. 7

Nerves creped into my stomach twisting into knots as I realized I would be fighting not only a Vampire but a Demon (something I've yet to kill) as well!

  8. 8

Forcing back my nerves I reached into my back pocket pulling out a collapsible baton prepared to play a fun game of baseball.

  9. 9

I frowned lightly realizing that the Vampire was already feeding from the woman, the Demon not doing a good job at watching out for people like me was easily distracted by the feeding Vampire, making

  10. 10

Inches behind the Demon I pulled the baton high over my head adding as much force as I could before bringing it over the back of his head. I watched as he fell to the ground unconscious or dead.

  11. 11

The Vampire pushed the lady out of the way as he made a stocking motion toward me. Leaving her totally in the clear, only problem- she wasn't running annoyed I screamed at her:

  12. 12

The words I picked seemed to work the woman took little time running away leaving me with a very angry Vampire! "You'll regret this, I was hungry!"

  13. 13

Droping the useless metal baton I pulled a stake out of my boot pointing it in the Vampire's direction as we played a game of cat and mouse dancing around each other waiting to strike

  14. 14

"Isn't this Lovkinja Territory? I'm sure they wouldn't be happy to see a young wannabe huntress on their turf Blondie," The Vampire growled staring daggers into my soul.

  15. 15

"Well Monster, I doubt my family will care much, one less Vampire and all," I hissed out lunging again annoyed as it missed his heart by inches. I could have killed him right there but I'd hesitated,

  16. 16

"You missed Deary- my heart's here," He added a short smile in my direction as he traced his fingers in a heart shape over his own still every much present heart. "If I'm going to be killed by

  17. 17

"That's what the guy before you said, and well- let's just say that he's not around to tell the story, now is he?"

  18. 18

"You like it rough then, Deary?" the vampire growled catching me off guard as he slammed me into the ally wall my heart dropping at the sound of the stake hitting the cement ground.

  19. 19

I watched as he stared at my tattoo which consisted of a bunch of silver and black strands leading to a black heart which lied over my main jugular vein and ran down my shoulder.

  20. 20

I watched as his red eyes grew large with shock and anger, "I was only going to take a bite, but now-now you're going to be VERY sorry." He growled shaking me roughly like a rag-doll.

  21. 21

My eyes landed on the stake forgotten on the ground, although as I closed the gap between the stake and my fingers I flew back painfully as I felt a sharp tug on my hair. The world seemed to dip as I

  22. 22

I glared at him as I watched him wrap his fingers around my hair pulling sharply as he threw me against the brick wall. "Now Darling- I'm growing quite bored of this game, aren't you?" His smirk

  23. 23

I felt tired as his fingers grasped my neck, their cold clutch lifted me right off my feet as he tried to take the very air from my lungs. I couched clawing at his hands as a voice rang out, "Delos-

  24. 24

"Stay out of it Victor," Delos growled even so I let out a small scream as he dropped me to the ground, as in just let go and fall, drop. Holding my throat I tried to catch my breath. "No- Delos, I

  25. 25

"Well what should we do?" Delos asked kicking me with his foot, my head was spinning as I tried to stand up, only to have Delos knock my feet out from under me. "It's not like she's seen too much-

  26. 26

I watched panting heavily as I gripped my side as Victor-the-Demon clapped his hands together, a large blue light appearing only a few feet away from him kept my attention. That's when the howling

  27. 27

"Crap! Victor I think It's time to go!" Delos urged as one of the monsters I must have missed entered the head of the alleyway. And yes, before you ask- it was furry.

  28. 28

The thing was huge, all teeth and fur if you ask me, I mean I knew we were having a problem with a pack in the parks but in the middle of town- very improbable... Perhaps our fight had drawled its

  29. 29

"FINE" Delos growled grabbing my other arm as Victor and him practically threw me through the glowing blue orb.
