The Summer That Changed Everything (Draco Malfoy)

The Summer That Changed Everything (Draco Malfoy)

Pure hatred for one another. That’s the only thing Amanda and Draco have in common. Until the one summer before their sixth year at Hogwarts when she is forced to stay at the Malfoy Manor for the whole summer. At first she utterly despises the whole idea of it until her and Draco starts having something else in common; Love and Lust. It’s the summer that changed everything.

Chapter 1

A summer with the Malfoy's

A summer with Draco Malfoy.

I didn’t quite believe my parents when they told me I would be spending the summer with them until now. Looking up at the huge manor and standing frozen as my mum and dad said goodbye to me and left for Paris.

I thought it was totally unfair of them to go to Paris and leave me here with these people!

Okay maybe I should tell you a little bit about myself and why I hate this so much.

My name is Amanda Heart (Amy). Im in Slytherin but don’t really fit in. I’m nice and caring while most Slytherins are just plain horrible.

Ever since I can remember me and Malfoy have hated each other. The only possible reason I can see why is because of that.

He constantly reminds me how much I don’t belong in Slytherin and how much of a disgrace I am.

But I honestly couldn’t care what he thought.

“Come on inside dear, the house elves will bring your stuff in.” Mrs. Malfoy said leading me into the house.

I scoffed at her a walked through the doors. To be true full I never really like any of the Malfoy’s and trust me even though what she said that sounded nice, it wasn’t meant to be.

“Draco, come down stairs and show Amanda which room she will be staying in!” she called after Malfoy.

Great! I thought to myself sarcastically.

“Why can’t you do it?” came that harsh cold voice of Draco Malfoy. He was walking down the stairs as though he’d rather die than have to show me anything, and I felt the same way.

“Now, now Draco be nice to our guest.” Mr. Malfoy said from behind me.

He gave me a look of annoyance before telling me to fallow him.

We walked up several stairs before he stopped at a door and turned to face me.

“Let’s get this perfectly clear, over the summer you will not speak to me, bother me, or wonder around too much. I want you to stay out of my way and practically invisible. This is your room.” he said pointing to the door beside him.

As he walked off I noticed he went into the room right beside mine.

Just perfect. Not only do I have to stay in the same house as him but out of all the rooms in this place I have to have the one that’s right next to his.

When I walked into the room I looked around. The walls were painted lavender, my least favorite color. And everything else in the room matched it. I noticed that all of my things were already in the room and unpacked.

I dug around the room to find where everything was put. Once I spotted out everything I grabbed a pair of shorts and a tank top for bed. It only 7:30 but I didn’t care. I was tired and I hoped maybe I would wake back up in the morning in my own bed. Even though I knew that wasn’t going to happen.

********************************************************

When I woke up the next morning and went downstairs nobody seemed to be home.

I went to the kitchen to get some breakfast and noticed Draco was already there. There went that theory.

“Where’s your parents?” I asked him curiously.

“There not home and it’s really none of your business.” He spat back never looking at me once.

I rolled my eyes at him and didn’t say another word.

“Im having some friends over tonight and I don’t want them to know you’re here so stay up in room.” he said glancing over at me.

“You can’t tell me what to do! I don’t want to stay up in that stupid room all day and you can’t make me!” I shouted back at him.

There was no way he was going to tell me what do and when I can and can’t leave that room!

“This is my house not yours! I don’t want people to think my family would actually associate with yours! Either stay up there or I will make your life a living hell for the rest of the summer!” he yelled back.

“Whatever, I don’t really care about what you ‘threaten’ to do. Go on make my life hell, you’re not going to control me all summer.” I say and start to walk away.

“Oh well see about that.” I hear him say before I left.

This is going to be one horrible summer, I can already tell.
