Summer Love With My Best Friend (Original Story)

"Jessie! Jessie! Jessie! Jessie! Jessie! Jessie!" My brother chanted.
"What, Simon?" I groaned, turning off my stomach onto my back.
"Mom and Shawn wants you to wake up!" Simon said. Shawn was my best friend since Kindergarden.
"Okay, now get out of my room, you little brat.." I said and Simon hit me with a pillow, then went out.
I then groaned and got dressed.

Just then, Shawn came in through my window with his backpack
"Hey hey hey." He greeted. I chuckled.
"Shawn, can't you use the door like a normal person?" I asked, referring to my door.
"Pfft. Like a normal person. Ha!" He chuckled and I laughed.
"Okay then." I said, then I grabbed my shoulderbag and went downstairs. He then came after me.
"Morning Jessie. And Shawn." My mother smiled as she looked up from cooking.
"Morning Miss Jones." Shawn smiled
"Call me Julie." Mom said
"Julie." Shawn grinned, then mom poured some milk in my cereal and I grabbed it off the counter and sat down on the couch and started eating.
"Can I have some of those eggs, toast, and bacon?" Shawn asked.
"Course Shawn, want some Hash browns?" Mom asked.
"No. Thanks." Shawn smiled again and mom put some pepper on his eggs, then he grabbed his plate and sat down next to me.
Then Simon came down from his room with Maxwell, AKA Max, my older brother, who's in his last year of High School, 17.
"Maxie!" I screamed and put down my plate and ran to Max and hugged him.
"You really have to do that every time you see me?" Max asked, holding his plate in the air
"Yep!" I said, then I continued to hug him.
"Maxie!" Shawn screamed, imitating my voice and ran and hugged Max and I. I laughed.
"Not you too, Shawn!" Max whined fake and Shawn laughed before pulling back. Max put his plate down and hugged me back.
"I'm better now!" I said and Max let go and I pulled back and continued to eat my cereal.
"Krave, really?" asked Simon
"Chocolate chocolate." Shawn said
"YUM YUMMMMMMM!!!!!" I said in a shrill voice and Shawn and I laughed.
"It's 7:30 kids, finish your breakfast." Mom said
"Mom, i'm 17. I'm not a kid." Max said, then mom ruffled his hair.
"You're a kid in my book." Mom said, then she grabbed her keys and went to the car.
Max grabbed his omelet and ran out to the car with his backpack, then Shawn, Simon, and I put our plates in the sink and grabbed our backpacks and ran out to the car and got in.
Mom then drove to Simon's school and dropped him up, then drove to our school and dropped us off.
"Thanks mom!" Max said, closing the door and running to his friends.
"Have a good day, Max!" Mom yelled before saying the same to us.
"Have a good day, kids."
"Kay, thanks, mom." I said, getting out.
"Thanks, Julie." Shawn said before getting out himself and closing the door.
"No problem." Mom said before driving off to work.
