I hate you, but i love you

A love story... please feel free to comment even if it's critism, as long as it's not intentionally being mean i'm fine with any comment. :P
(the main character is kind of both of them, and they've known eachother since the second grade and have hated eachother the moment they met.) Isn't that just lovely? P.s. I know Alice seems to be really rude, but later in the story you get to see why.

Chapter 1

Partners with the devil.

Alice's POV

Please give me cameron stiles! I thought over and over in my head as the science teacher, Mr. Gumbster called out pair of people to be partners in the next project slowly. I had to get Cameron, he was the most popular boy in the school, and also just recently my boyfriend. It was just fate for the head cheerleader and the star quarterback to be in a relationship. Nothing else would make sense." Alice Jay and Jason Hendrecks."
A loud groan came from my lips. "Excuse me?"
"Is there a problem Mrs. Jay? Mr. Gumbster asked as the whole class watched with interest. I looked over and saw that Jason was watching with his dark hateful brown eyes. I could barley see them, since he was hiding under his uncropped brown hair that covered most of his face. "Yes, how do you expect me to work with him?"
I didn't care that the remark was rude. I was a cheerleader and he was just some loner boy. Mr. Gumbster checked the clipboard in his hands," We'll talk about this after class." I groaned again playing with my long blonde hair. I gave one last hateful look to Jason then turned back to my desk and began doodling.
Jason's POV

Alice Jay?? You've got to be kidding me. I would rather have lunch with the devil! All I could do was clench my fist against the desk as Mr.Gumbster began telling us about the project. I needed to hit something and badly. Maybe even someone if I was stuck in this room any longer."Okay, you may now discuss with your partner about the outlines of your project."
Oh god please help me. Can you even hear me now? I reluclantly pulled a seat next to Alice."Ready to be dragged to hell?" I asked putting my spiral in my journal. She put her chapstick up and rubbed a little,"If I'm going to hell I'm pulling your weak demonic body in with me." If anyone was close to us they could probably feel the tension grow every second. I rolled my eyes and took out a pencil from behind my ear.
"I would ask to do the project at your house, but... there isn't much of a house is there?" She joked not knowing how much that actually hurt. I hid how I felt with a sickening laugh. Everyone knew I lived in a trialer becuase my mum was to busy getting high with her boyfriend, but no one had ever dared brought it up." And I would suggest we ask your mum for help on the project, but...she isn't here is she?" Alice gave me another hateful glance.
"We'll do it at my house. Tonight at five... take a shower before you come. I wouldn't want your scent ruining the aura of my house."She told me packing to leave. I looked confused... what about an arua? The bell rang releasing me from the maddening thoughts of duct tapping her mouth shut.

Alice's POV

I walked out of the classroom as quick as I could not bothering to even go to Mr.Gumbster knowing he favored Jason for some strange reason. I reached the football fields and caught Cameron before he had to practice."Hey baby." I gave him a long kiss. He gratefully kissed back pulling me closer and putting his hands where it wasn't appropiate for public."Stop, not now."I insisted trying to laugh it off. He gave me a smirk," After school in the locker room, then?"
I shook my head frowning,"I can't, I have to meet up with someone tonight."
"Your such a tease!" He smiled still holding me close.
"And your very impatient."I whispered into his ears. He gave me one last kiss and headed off to the field. I reunited with the other cheerleaders and began a long, sore practice.
Jason's POV

"Jason aren't you tired of being like this?"
"Like what?" I asked the counselor. It wasn't my choice to come here, but I didn't disagree about it. It was kind of nice to talk to someone.
"Friendless?" She asked concerned.
"If I have friends...then I'll just get hurt again."
"I know you think that, but not everyone is like your father."
I laughed the laugh I always do when I'm angry or stressed." My mum's boyfriends are...and the kids at school are. You can't possibly tell me theres someone in the school that's not like that. Well, beside you." I said calming down. She smiled an appreciative smile." I'm glad you can talk to me, and I'm glad you consider me the opposite of your father, but I can't be your substitute for a friend. You need a teenager in your life. Someone you can tell anything too."
"I can tell you stuff."
She eyed me,"You know what I mean."
I sighed grabbing my bag," Look, I know...We can continue this conversation tomorrow." And with that I was out the door with a few small protests from her.
Off to Alice's house. Oh, great let the fun begin.
