Love, When You Least Expect It Chapter 2 (Teenage Love Story)NOVEL
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Within three minutes James arrived at Alhambra High School. The school was only one street down. Ounce he had already parked his car, he noticed Victor, Nick, Eric, and John standing on the curve, waiting for James to step out of his rusty ford.
"Hey bro!" Victor shouted. James had known Victor since they were in kindergarten, but neither of them had ever been in an argument including, Nick, and Jordan. Though, James only met Nick and Jordan in second grade, they were all still really close. Each and every one of them had two things in common. Trouble, and getting girls, then leaving them broken hearted in one day.
When James closed the car door behind him, he noticed Victor, wearing blue jeans, a "RUN DMC" t-shirt, with a black jacket covering half of the words, and laced up black boots. Jordan, stood in the middle of Victor, and Nick, wearing just a plain white t-shirt, jeans, and black and white converse, with thick brown curly hair. Nick, stood on the right of Jordan. He wore a red sweater, with light blue jeans, black and white converse, with wavy blonde hair.
James was relieved to see his friends. He always did. He walked up to his friends, and responded to Victor. "Hey man." He said to Victor.
"So, man, what kind of scheme are you pulling next dude?" Victor asked, as he put his arm around James's shoulder.
"None." James answered
"What do you mean none?" Victor chuckled a bit.
"Well, I mean none man." James, answered in a humorous tone, and smiled up at Victor, for a second, and then stared at the ground, back again."My mom wants me to stop fooling around. She made me promise her, I'd never do anything reckless this semester. Or just ever again."
"Now, did she say for the semester, or for your entire life." Victor, asked, as they walked up the stairs towards the door, to enter the school.
"Uh! not sure." Victor gave out a small laugh.
"Well, man, it doesn't even matter."
"What do you mean." James asked.
"It's not like you actually promised right?"
"Yeah, that's right." James answered. He and Victor, always agreed to every little thing. They like doing the same things, and neither one of those things, were something they couldn't resist. Trouble was one of them. When James and his friends finally stepped into the school. There was the girl, from the bus stop. Sorting her supplies in her locker, right next to James's. Who was she? James had never seen her before. The fact that her locker was clearly next to his, gave James a bad feeling.
Once they managed to walk further into the school. Victor noticed his girlfriend Lisa standing over by her locker chatting with her best friend Maddie. Victor and Lisa had been dating since the week before winter break, but had known each other since they were fresh mens. They seemed to be going strong. Victor had been acting more different, than his usual self, or who knows for sure. He still might break up with her in about a week.
