Chapter Title: Toast and Bad Weather


I wake up to find that my clock says 9:27. I also see that Kaylee is not in her bed. I throw a T-Shirt on, a sweatshirt, and a pair of shorts. I run downstairs, seeing that I have toast for breakfast. I grab my toast, and run to the garage door.

"Why in a hurry?" My mom asked.
"I have to meet Kaylee outside." I replied.
"Oh. Make sure to eat your breakfast!" She said.
"Kay! Bye!" I said, as I ran out of the door.

"Hey, Hailey!" Kaylee said.
"Hey! How's it going?"
"Oh, fine."
"Same here. So, uhh..what do you want to do?"
"Err...I Don't Know. What about you?"
"Umm...this." I said.
"What are you doing?" Kaylee said, as I threw my toast on the ground, and stomped on it.
"Having fun!"
"Lemme try it!" She said, stomping on the toast.
"I told you it was fun!"
"So, let's go inside. It's starting to rain." Kaylee said.
"Oh, just a little rain. Nothing bad!" I replied.
"Well, you get hit in the head by hail, I'm going inside."
"Hey! Don't-OW!!!"

I looked up. Hail.

"Hey, Kaylee! Wait up!" I said, running.
