Chapter 1
The White Room
She woke up for the next morning in her large circular room. It was white again and she sighed. Nothing in it just like it was when she woke up. Just the old large blue book in the middle of it resting on a tall fancy cement podium. She went over to it and picked up the pen. She wrote "I wish I had a chair." and just like it appered. She sat down and countinued to write. She thought of what she might want next and asked the book to give her a sunny countryside backround for her room. She did not know what a countryside was yet, but she had read it in one of the many books the worn down book gave her. Then she saw it. It was beautiful
The trees and low grass seemed to extend forever and a red house was next to her. She went to it but it was locked, "I wish I had a key to this door." she wrote and one appered in her hand. It was nothing special. Just yellow sticks of some sort of grass she didn't know. After spending such a long time in here, she was beginning to get bored, Then she thought of an amazing idea. Wish for someone to talk to! She wrote it down in the book and then another person appeared.
She didn't know what to make of the undressed woman standing in front of her. She had never seen another body in her life.
"Hello." it said
"Hi. My name is... my name is..." she couldn't believe she had forgotten her name. she made one up from one of her favorite books "Hera"
"It is nice to meet you Hera." she said
Something wasn't right about her. She wasn't talking like the people in her books. She had no... oh what was the word... emotion! She didn't like her. She went to the book and wished her away. She began to develope cracks all along her body and burst into tiny broken peices. She had another idea. Wish for a book that would tell her more words.
She held the larg book in her hands. She could bearly hold it. She dropped in onto the floor and began to read. Words like planes, planets, stars, grass, heaven. She would like to go to heaven. It sounded like a very nice place to go. She tried to wish for it but the book wouldn't let her. She knew she had to get out. She learned a word called "door" that could take her places. She put it into the book and for the first time the book wrote something back.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes" she wrote and a shining silver door was placed in front of her. She opened it and waved goodbye to the magical book one last time. Time to see what the word "earth" was really like.
