Heart_And_Seoul: 11-16-2012 at 2:13 PMBecause procrastinating is not doing what you should be doing. Waiting, in this adage, means that you are still living your life, doing the best you can and what you are supposed to be doing, and then you will find good things appear in your life.
ThatEnglishGuy: 11-16-2012 at 2:19 PMOkay in order to streamline this I'm going to refer to "good things come to those who wait" as premise 1, or p1, and "procrastination is bad" as premise 2, or p2. In the case of premise 1 you are waiting for an undefined event or object that will come to you if you wait. In the case of premise 2, you are not waiting for something to happen, you are actively putting off an already defined event/activity that will not do itself... (cont. in next comment)
