Happy Endings
Poem I made while I was extremely bored in the office...Read if you want. Not forcing anybody to.
Once upon a time always has a happy ending,
With people giggling, chuckling, and laughing.
They haven't seen the pain it causes me,
When I know they all in the end just say,"Long live the King".
The mindless beings that they are,
Twiddling their thumbs and counting the stars.
Talking about love and singing about joy,
Their strings being pulled by the King, ever so coy.
The children they laugh, the adults they smile.
Even I raise a corner of my mouth every once in a while.
But it doesn't change the fact that this is another dark story,
And, if I may be so bold, it's really quite boring.
