I looked up to the sky
The snow, it fell
It blurred my eyes

I listened to the wind
The trees, they sang
They told me things

I breathed in the air
My chest, it rose
I felt new everywhere

I saw a star
For a second, I paused
I could have sworn it was an angel
I saw a star
For a moment, I stared
The light blurs into an angel
I saw a star
For a moment, I prayed
And beside me is an angel

I touched the cold
The ice, it swirled
It danced, so bold

I tasted the snow
The snow, it whispered
Against my skin it flowed

I spoke a word
The word, it echoed
By only one it was heard

I saw a star
For a second, I dreamed
My heart beat fast, an angel
I saw a star
For a breath, I hoped
I could reach out to that angel
I saw a star
For a beat, I wished
I made a wish upon an angel

I slept a night
The night, it passed
I woke to sunlight
