LIFE AS A SUMERIAN (It's those types of stories where you make your own choices)
So I'm making this story, where you get to pick what you want to do while you read...yuppers, it's about living life as a Sumerian in Mespotamia (which is in Egypt). I learned these facts in history...I guess history is one of my favorite subjects now! Remember to follow the the directions when I tell you which chapter to go to...oh yeah, keep in mind...ANYTHING can happen in the region of Sumer, ANYTHING! >:)
You are a Sumerian person, and you're been working hard, doing your job...weaving baskets. You sit on a stool while making the baskets, putting a hand on your forehead to not get blinded by the sun. It is a hot and dry day, where the scorching sun shined brightly, and the air was not filled with any breezes. As you wipe a bead of sweat from your forehead, you look up and see your father, who looked joyful. He tells you that Sumer has won the first battle in the war that's going on. You beam and seemed pleased. But your father's lips form a frown suddenly. He tells you that there will be another battle coming soon, and that weapons needed to be made.
"You can help make weapons for the next battle...or create decorations for the celebration we're having soon since we won the first battle. You have good skills at making strong weapons AND creating beautiful decorations," your father says, nodding. "I don't think you have time to do both though, the next battle is starting in a couple of more days probably. Make up your mind." You plop yourself down a chair, thinking...what shall you do?
A.) Make decorations
B.) Make weapons
IF YOU PICK A, GO TO THE 2ND CHAPTER, IF YOU PICK B, GO TO THE 3RD CHAPTER.
