I woke up. I was drenched in sweat for some unknown reason. Was it a nightmare?

"Jessica Ryan get your butt down here!" I heard my dad yell.I live with my dad since my parents got divorced. My mom died after that and he's been really caring. I got up and got dressed.

"Coming!" I yelled running down the stairs and almost falling face first. I got to the bottom where my dad was standing. "What is it, daddy?" I said innocently.

"Do you know what day it is?" he asked smiling.

"Um, oh! It's prom!!!" I said jumping up!

"Yes, and you should get to school," He said handing me my keys.

"Thanks dad!" I said grabbing my bag and running out the door.

"Jessica!" Caitlyn yelled.

"Caitlyn! Wait where's Lilith?" I asked. Lilith is always with her all the time.

"Oh, I don't know. I haven't seen her today." She replied.

"Whatever. Are you excited for the prom?!" I asked to see her looking at my shirt.

"Is that what you are wearing?" she asked looking disgusted.

"No, I've got a dress, don't worry," I replied to see her face light up.

"Okay good. Did you hear who they got to play at the dance?" she asked excitedly.

"No, who did they get?" I asked smoothing my shirt down.

"One Direction!" she yelled out.

"Oh meh gawd!" I exclaimed to see everyone staring at us.

"I know right! When I heard about it, I started freaking out. I also started dancing. Everyone started laughing at me, too," she laughed.

"Well, I think that's what I would've done, too. Oh did I tell you that Liam followed me last night!" I yelled jumping up from my seat.

"Really!" she yelled as I nodded and the teacher walked in.

"Get in your seats!" Mr. Lynch said as everyone shuffled around to get there.
