Break my heart, break my soul,
You'll never stop me reaching my goal.
Still I smile,
An empty phone dial.
So now this is over I never expected to be here with a grin,
Feels like the greatest win.
I've won the game that is life,
Evaded this strife.
Look me in the eyes,
Listen to my distant cries.
Realise that I'm a better guy,
All I did was try.
I'm finally free of deaths harsh grip,
I'll never again slip.
No longer cold,
Chasing gold.
