Path of the Ninja

There was a new kid in town. Her name was Kimi Hatake. Her whole family had been killed by Itachi. She didn't understand why he had killed them either. She couldn't understand it,'Why?' Kimi mummbled to herself,'why did he kill them for?' Tears started running down Kimi's cheecks as she cried. Well she was only 6 years old after all.

Itachi had even killed her older sister Amber. Kimi couldn't understand it. She thought he had loved Amber, too. She ran her hand through her short low hanging brown braids as she sighed. Kimi had only been living in Konoha for a few days so far, and already she missed her village and her family. But she missed her sister most of all. She had been staying with a man called Kakashi since then. Kimi couldn't remember what had happened though. She just remembers losing coniousness, and waking up and seeing Kakashi looking down at her. He was the one who had found her.

Later on, she heard that her whole village was burned to the ground, by a man called Itachi. So she figured Itachi must have killed her family. No one told her about her village, she just had over heard is all. Now here she was, crying her eyes out over her family. Kimi's eyes glowed red, like the eyes of a dragon's,"I can't stand it, anymore! I'm just going to run away!" Kimi sobbed. Kimi got ready to walk out of the gates.

"That's not a good idea," a voice said from behind her. Kimi jumped. Kimi turned around and came face to face with a young boy with short black hair, with an all black outfit on, and he had blue eyes.

"Why do you say that for?" Kimi asked him.

"It's against the rules. You'll get in trouble, by the way, I'm Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha, of the Uchiha clan," Sasuke exstanded his hand to shake Kimi's. But Kimi just turned the other way and cried. "What's wrong? You look upset," said the Uchiha boy.

"I'm Kimi, and I've just had my whole family and village destroyed," Kimi sobbed.

"Really? What happened?" Sasuke asked. Kimi sit down on a bench. Sasuke sit down next to her, on the bench. "I over heard the villagers talking. It seems that a man called Itachi did it," Kimi said.

"Really? My brother did that?" Sasuke asked.

"Yeah he...WAIT! Wait a minute! Itachi's your brother!" Kimi panicked. She slid away from Sasuke very slowly.

"Don't worry Kimi. I'm not anything like my brother. I won't kill you," Sasuke reassured her,"There's something you don't know. He killed our parents. My own brother killed my parents," Sasuke said.

"Oh my!" Kimi said,"That's terrible!"

"Yeah. My brother's a terrible guy," Sasuke said. He almost cried himself.

Kimi saw that Sasuke was trying to fight back the few tears that were just starting to well up in his eyes. "Hey," Kimi said, as she put her arm around him,"It's okay. From now on, we'll watch out for each other okay, and someday we'll both make your brother pay for his crimes, ok."

"You mean, we'll be friends?" Sasuke asked the brown-eyed girl.

"Yes. Isn't that what friends do?" Kimi answered.

"Yeah," Sasuke smiled at his new friend. They shoke hands, sealing there friendship.

"Hey look! That girl's hanging all over our Sasuke-kun!" Some girls screamed pointing at Kimi and Sasuke.

Sasuke gave Kimi a look,"Run," he said. Kimi somehow knew why. She and Sasuke turned around and ran from the mob of girls that were chasing them.

They somehow got away. "Why were those girls after you for?" Kimi asked Sasuke.

"It seems like all the girls of the village have devolped this kinda crush on me," Sasuke said,"And when they saw me with you, they thought that I had picked you over them."

"That's crazy!" Kimi laughed,"I think those girls need to get a relality check."

Just then there was a voice,"Hey! Sasuke-kun!" A girl with short pink hair ran up to them,"Good afternoon, Sasuke-kun." The girl grinned as she grabbed onto Sasuke and held on tight.

"Uh, what are you doing?" Kimi asked,"Who are you anyway?"

"Oh, my name's Sakura. Sakura Haruno," Sakura grinned as she held onto Sasuke.

"Let go of him! Can't you see your enbrassing him!" Kimi said.

"Just who are you!" Sakura demanded.

"Kimi," Kimi said.

"Well...Kimi...NO!" Sakura said,"How about we take a long nice romatic walk, Sasuke-kun," Sakura said grinning. Inner-Sakura started screaming,"Alright! He's mine! He's mine! He's finually all mine!"

Sasuke started turning blue,"Let go of him! Your choking him!" Kimi screamed. She pulled Sakura off of Sasuke.

Sakura gave Kimi this dirty look,"How dare she!" Inner-Sakura demanded, as Sakura turned and walked away, kinda mad.

"Sasuke are you ok?" Kimi asked him.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Sasuke said,"Sakura's always been like that. Her and a girl called Ino. I tried telling them both that were just friends, but they still keep on fighting over me."

"Sounds like they need to get a life," Kimi said. She rolled her eyes. Kimi and Sasuke went to go get some raman and talk somemore. When they got there, they saw a boy with spiky blond hair, eating a big bowl of raman. "Hi, who are you?" Kimi asked.

Naruto looked up from his bowl,"Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki. Are you a friend of Sasuke's?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah. I'm Kimi," Kimi said.

"Nice to meet you, Kimi," Naruto said,"Would you two like to join me?"

Sasuke shoke his head,"No thanks," he said.

But Kimi surprised Naruto by saying,"Sure, why not?"

Sasuke turned around and walked away,"Suit yourself," he said as he left. Kimi didn't know what had gotten into Sasuke all of a sudden.

"It seems like, the whole village dislikes me. They all treat me this way, Kimi," Naruto said.

"Why?" Kimi asked, Naruto.

"I don't know," Naruto said,"But none of the other kids want to be my friend."

Kimi felt kinda sorry for him,"I'll be friends with you, Naruto," Kimi said.

"You sure it won't ruin your friendship with Sasuke?" Naruto asked.

"No it's ok," Kimi said.

"Great!" Naruto said. They both ordered a bowl of raman, and ate it while they talked about different things. For some reason, Kimi didn't feel right about telling Naruto about her village, so she didn't tell him.

Later after talking to Naruto, later that night she was heading home, when she was jumped by two girls,"Here she is, Ino. This is the girl that's been hanging all over Sasuke-kun," Kimi heard Sakura say to a short blond haired girl, who must be the other girl, Sasuke talked about...Ino.

"What do you..." Kimi turned around getting ready to say, when everything went black. Sakura and Ino were about to beat Kimi up somemore when they heard voices from around the corner.

"We better get out of here, Sakura," Ino said. They both ran for it.

Sasuke came from around the corner,"Who's there!" He called. No one answered. Just then Sasuke found Kimi unconious and all bloodly. "Oh my god! Kimi!" Sasuke ran up to Kimi's unconious form. Sasuke shoke her, trying to wake her,"Kimi! Kimi are you okay? Wake up! Kimi!" Kimi didn't answer. Sasuke picked her up and carried her to his house. The hospital was too far away to walk there. Sasuke laid Kimi on the sofa. He went and got some bandages, warm water and some wash rags.

Sasuke wasn't a doctor but he tried his best to take care of Kimi's wounds. First he washed out the wounds, then bandaged them. He warped bandages around Kimi's arms and legs even around her head. He then got a pillow and a blanket. He put the pillow under Kimi's head and put the blanket over her.

Sasuke then cleaned up the mess he had made. He washed the blood from his hands, and made himself a palit on the floor next to the sofa, as he was worried about Kimi. Kimi, was his only friend so he didn't want anything to happen to her. Plus, there was that promise they'd made to each other to always look after one another.

Meanwhile at Kakashi's house, he went and knocked on Kimi's bedroom door,"Kimi!" Kakashi called. There was no answer,"Hmmm...she must have already gone to bed," Kakashi said, as he went to bed himself.

Kimi woke up in some unknown house. She looked around. "Where am I?" She wondered. Kimi looked down to see her arms and legs bandaged. She then felt her head. It was bandaged too. She sit up. That was a mistake. A sharp pain went though her head,"Ahhhh!" Kimi screamed in pain.

Sasuke woke up from where he was sleeping on the floor,"Kimi!" He said. Sasuke then ran to Kimi's side,"Are you ok?" He asked her.

"A little but my head really hurts. By the way, where am I anyway, Sasuke?" Kimi asked him.

"Your at my house," Sasuke said.

"Your house? You mean this is where you live?" Kimi said. She turned her head this way and that. The place looked awful. Kimi tried to get up, but a sharp pain went though her whole body. She screamed in pain.

"Don't move!" Sasuke said,"Your still very badly hurt. I found you unconious and bleeding very badly." Sasuke helped Kimi lay back down. "What happened, anyway?" Sasuke asked her.

"I think, Sakura and Ino beat me up," Kimi told him.

"I tried to warn you. See any girl I make friends with have all ended up being beat up by them. Are you sure you still want to be friends with me?" Sasuke asked.

"Of course Sasuke. I never wanted anything more," Kimi said, as she took Sasuke's hand and squeezed it.

"Then let me at least show you how to defand yourself against them," Sasuke said,"When your better of course."

"Sure Sasuke," Kimi said. Kimi then laid back and got somemore rest. Sasuke went and told Kakashi what happened, and that Kimi was at his place while her wounds heal. Kakashi said that, that was ok. The next day Kimi was all better, so Sasuke tought her some moves. So the next time Sakura and Ino tried to beat her up, they were in for a surprise. Kimi was behind them before they could even blink. She threw them against the wall and knocked them unconious. From then on Sakura and Ino devoloped a hate for Kimi. Under the moonlight one night, Kimi made a vow to someday be the greatest ninjas ever. And Kimi promised to avenge her people. Someday...
