I'd rather be at home,watching project runway,of course,but sadly i'm not. I'm stuck in boring history class in Jane Swen Middle School. My history teacher,Ms.Borris,is going on and on about something,too bad i'm not paying attention. "---100 years ago,the ill-fated ship Titanic sank in the freezing cold Atlantic Ocean---" Ms.Borris said dreamily,until she was cut off. "We know the Atlantic Ocean is freezing already! Why do you think the dude died in the freaking movie?" Shontelle Thomas,who sat behind me,said. Well,when she put it like that,she did have a point. Ms.Borris was kind enough to ingnore her --or she just didn't hear her,we never know-- and continued. "When the Titanic sank,1500 souls went into the Atlantic Ocean,and only 700 were able to get into a lifeboat,because they wanted woman and childern on first---" And once again,she got cut off,but this time it wasn't by Shontelle. It was the school bell,meaning we could go home now. I gathered my books,grabbed my bag ---which was an awesome shade of dark blue--- and exited History class,thankful. I started towards my locker ---203--- until i stopped. I rolled my eyes,annoyed. I was looking at my ex-best friend Rachel Walker and her new best friend,Anna Tate. Of course i have moved on,made a new best friend ---Tia James--- and i barely speak of Rachel now. But she's cheerleader captain ---It seems every ex-best friend becomes a cheerleader captain in the end,doesn't it? Welcome to my world--- And can you guess what Anna is? Yep,Co-Captain. ---But there's a twist. She's also captain of book club,and despite the weird ending of me and Rachel's friendship,Anna and i get along pretty well.--- Rachel ingnored me and walked towards the school doors,with Anna following behind. Meanwhile,she took a brief pause and waved at me quickly before running to catch up with her cheerleader captain. Rachel is prettier,richer,and more popular then i am ---Although if you've ever seen her report cards,she absolutely is not smarter then me--- I realized just then i was paused in the hallway,like an idiot. ---Well,i'm not smarter then her in this moment--- I started walking towards my locker again,until i once again paused. It wasn't because of a ex-best friend this time. It was because a boy ---a really cute boy--- had exited History class just that moment,and was heading towards locker 204 ---Right next to mine?!--- How could i have not noticed him before? He is so cute! He has blonde hair,dark green eyes and was wearing a plain black t-shirt,shaggy jeans and high converse. I was snapped back to reality as the cute boy walked out of the school. I started walking,starstruck,to my locker and turned the dial. Who was he? And why haven't i seen him before? If he's in locker 204,i should have seen him before. Wait a minute! He's not even the owner of locker 204! Queenie Tate ---Anna's older sister--- is. Why did he go into Queenie's locker? I grabbed my purple sweater ---By the way,if your interested,i am wearing a black "Girls Rock" t-shirt,grey faded jeans,and pink converse. I also have black shiny straight hair and purple eyes--- I closed my locker and headed towards the door. Everyday,i walk home with Tia ---My best friend,in case you don't pay attention--- but today she has piano lessons,so her mother is driving her. I start walking,only thinking about the mystery boy.
