THIS IS A STORY ABOUT A YOUNG FEMALE SNOWY OWL NAMED WING WHO IS GOING ON HER FIRST FLIGHT.....
My name is White.
I am a Snowy Owl.
I live in a huge nest at the top of Big Pine.
I am the middle of three.
Today will be my proudest moment.
Today i will learn to fly.
I gather up all my strength and follow my dad, Jace, to the edge of a branch.
"Now White," he told me, "Don't be afraid. Being afraid will just make you unsure. And if you are unsure, you'll fall and die."
A shiver went up my spine. "Ouch," I mumbled, and shifted through the thick snow next to him.
"Ready?" he called.
"Wait, WHAT!?!? I'm not ready! What do I even do?! I don't know HOW to fly yet!
What if I---"
And he gave mye a shove so that I plummeted down to the ground. I spread my wings and............................
