    I'm not in a situation like that but I like a girl and she just sees me as friend and I'm not sure whether she really likes me, but I have a friend who likes a girl, she doesn't even know he exists and he's been really miserable lately.

    well in my opinion guys often jump to conclusions quicly, he will proabably think that u/ she doesnt like him, and will probably pull away.
    but emotionally?
    hurt, unsure, rejected, confused. he'll most likely think that the girl doesnt want to be more than friends and stop crushing a little, which is bad if the girl likes him back but is just shy.

    well if your just ignoring them then maybe they will feel like your playing hard to get and they might like that (depending on what boy). but if your ignoring them and trying to make them jealous, they will just feel like they mine as well not even try to get you, because you already like someone else. (words from a real boy XD)
