I am proud to say that I really enjoyed the Twilight series and Edward Cullen while always be my favorite choice for Bella. I know that not a people like it because it's so different from the movies, but the books are always better than the movies and that shouldn't mean that people judge it so harshly. It's always being compared to the Harry Potter & Hunger Games series but I don't think it's fair to judge it so harshly either because these books come from completely different genres!

Edward Cullen has a face that looks like he ate too much turnips and it's an odd color of green, as for Twilight.... lets not even go there....

You know, I rather enjoyed reading the first book. I think it should have just stopped there, it's not a bad book on its own. It's not the best written or one with the most gripping/complex plot, but it was an enjoyable read in its way. I enjoyed the movie as well, for the same reasons. I liked how the actors and actresses portrayed the Cullen family, and I wish they had more screen time (which led to me wishing there was more of them in the books). The series is okay. (:

Edward Cullen....I don't know. I never really developed an opinion of him. Aside from Bella's rather on-the-outside knowledge of him (his appearance, how his face looks), there isn't much info of him on the inside. He likes to play the piano and is generally quiet. But 'generally quiet' describes all of the Cullens....In the first book I thought they made a good couple. In the second book where Jacob is more fully introduced and becomes a proper character instead of just a name in association

with Charlie's friend, I grew to realize that Jacob is the better of the two men. I think Bella should have gone with Jacob, as he encouraged her to grow and be a better person, while Edward, in more ways than one, encouraged her to stop growth and freeze where you are. I think that the vampirism is a good metaphor for it, though I don't think it comes across as a metaphor to most readers. XD Why are you asking, if you don't my query?

Its funny when people in High School are reading it. Because most people i know read it back in 4th grade one girl i know finished it in third.

So theres that.

I HATE Twilight, it is total bulland the only reason it wins so many awards is because *** sells now-a-days. It is poorly written and the story line is even worse.

Also Bella is very very weak. Not very good for a lead character is it? She gives a bad name to girls and Edward gives a bad name to vampires.

I hate both. I watched the movie before I read the book and I actually liked it but then I read the book and read summaries of the other books on Twilightlexicon and now HATE IT. There are so many problems with it. If SM had ended it with the first book I wouldn't have hated the entire series so much. Not to mention I use to crush on Edward until I read the sneak peek into Midnight Sun or whatever and realized how much of a creepy stalker manipulator he is. I liked everyone BUT BELLA and EDWARD!
