After looking at the comments on my 'What is your opinion on Twilight and especially Edward Cullen' question I have come to a conclusion.

Hmm. After reading your responses to my question..... I have come to a conclusion.
You guys hate Twilight. Well, most of you, anyway. Just saying, but have any of you actually read it? I used to hate Harry Potter until my friends literally forced me into reading it; then I couldnt stop reading it. So, just try it. You might like it.
In conclusion, (2), I think Twilight is a generally good series and Edward Cullen is the sexie.st thing alive. Just sayin'.

I disagree with you.
Just let me say that I used to like Twilight and Harry Potter at the same time. I don't remember which one I heard of first but I still liked them(this was before I read the books) After I read all the Twilight books I realized something; the plot into Twilight isn't very original or good(in my opinion of course). You could find a story pretty close to Twilight on Wattpad or Quizilla. So yeah, my love for Twilight died after reading the books. It was just a good movie.
Harry Potter, though, is original and I love it. I'm currently reading the books and I love it even more. They're always something new brought up that makes you guess and try to figure out what happened or who did it an why. It's filled with the unexpected.
As for the guys, I can't say much about them. Sure, most of the men from both movies are very attractive, but I don't judge a fictional character by their appearance.
You have a good point; Harry Potter has an amazing plot and I still have to say that Harry Potter is overall better than Twilight, but I still like Twilight. I havent seen the Twilight movies yet but I am planning to. Thanks for your opinion.
Okay, so I do realise that it is possible to like both and that some people like it and that's their opinion, and that's fine by me. But I have read the books, and I detested them the entire way throughout. And I've heard some Twihard's defend their series by saying that "we have hot werewolves and you have ugly ones." Excuse me, what?!? Exactly what has that got to do with anything?! If they defend the literature then I respect them, because it means that they paid attention to more than the
movies.But if they defend the books by defending appearances, I immediately despise them....

And 'hot werewolves'? I completely disagree. Jacob isnt even that good looking. Its Edward that I drool over :P

I read the first book. It annoyed me at how much Bella used the words perfect and dazzle. Can't bring myself to actually read 3 more books stuck inside of Bella's head. I read the summaries off of Twilightlexicon because I didn't have the books but now I'm glad I read those instead of the actual books because the more I read those the more I hated it. The main ideas and everything. Besides I can't get into a story where I absolutely hate the main characters- Bella and Edward.
When I read the summaries I hated it until I actually read it and then I liked it. I actually started reading it because everyone said it sucked and I shouldnt touch it in a milliion years. So I read it.
And you're right. She does use the words 'perfect' and 'dazzle' too much.
I love them both. I don't think Robert Pattinson as Edward is attractive.
Edward Cullen is hot, Robert Pattison isnt.
I personally HATE twilight, but I dont hate on people who like it, but I would definitely defend Harry potter in any situation. Everyone has their opinions.

I was thinking about reading it. I forced myself to read the first book since I liked the movie. It didn't go so well. It just made me hate it more. Bella is my biggest problem with the series which is why I can't read it. I mean it is her story and all in her POV. Well except for Jacob's POVs. I may one day read the entire series out of sheer boredom and if the books so happen to be there. I refuse to go out of my way to get my hands on them.

Although it's fine if you have and you just don't like it. I've read it. I liked it. But I just like other things more. Although I have all the books, all the movies on DVD and I'm seeing BD prt 2 :D
Me too about the liking other things better thing.... and im jealous i really want to see the movies but none of my friends will go with me because they all hate twilight :(
