Futuristic
It's 2022, and technology just keeps getting better and better... until it stops. Everything shuts down, and the world is darkened. Technology has already extinguished the sun and moon, and now... the world is forever silent. Four 15-year-old heroes join together to re-create what once was. Before the world is destroyed for eternity.
I raced along at jet speed on my hoverboard, my best friend James 'Slick' Smith zooming along next to me. We went at top speed, spiraling around and around, screaming "Woo-hoo!" and startling passerby. The Zoom-cap over my left eye showed all the possible routes to our destination and where we would encounter people so that we could avoid them. "Zoom-cap, mini-mize and locate Wendy and Zack Artoga!" I shouted. "Mini-mizing and locating," said the Zoom-cap. "They are at 127903 around 456782." it told me.
I can't believe that people used to use addresses instead of numeric identifiers. I thought. These are so much more effective. I glanced over at Slick, he looked over and smirked, then raised his eyebrows as if to say "Wanna race?" I smiled determindly, showing that I would beat him there.
And we sky-rocketed, laughing our heads off.
