The Princess Of Ravenclaw (A Harry Potter Story)

They were running. Running to where? They didn't know. A man and his wife, with a bundle of blankets in thier arms, running in the thunder storm, anywhere they could protect their daughter. They all came from a small town in Scotland, now, they where in an unknown country, The United States. In Texas to be exact. They finally found a quiet ranch house. The couple put the baby on the front steps, wrapped in lavender colored blankets, left a note, and they dissapeared in the darkness, never to return.

Their was a family that lived in that house. In that small ranch house lived Anthony and Annie Cruz, with their two sons, Nathaniel and Andrew, who are both 3. The next day, they found the little girl on the front step, and Annie gasped. They immediately took in the child. Anthony took the note and read it aloud to her wife:

Please take care of our wonderful daughter, her name is Adaline. She is very special, and I trust you to take care of her.

"Oh golly!" she cried. "What shall we call her?"

"I know. Adaline Melody Cruz." her husband said, smiling. "That is a beautiful name." she said, rocking the baby in her arms. Adaline opened her eyes for the first time, and Annie's hazel eyes stared into the baby's beautiful dark blue eyes. They were muggles, they didn't know the danger of taking this child. Lord Vodemort has risen again. But what matters is the the two most important children in the world were safe. The Boy Who Lived and The Princess Of Ravenclaw.


Adaline grew up as a normal child with her brothers and adopted parents. However, Anthony and Annie thought they had a protegy on their hands. By the time she was 3 years old, she was speaking full sentences and talking a lot. She could do math before she reached Preschool. They were so proud of their daughter, she was so smart, smarter than the average child. When she got to elementary school, she skipped Kindergarden and went straight to First Grade. No one could figure out how she came to be so smart.

The years passed quickly and it was almost her eleventh birthday. ittle did the Cruz family know, they would have a special vistor, as well as a shocking suprise.
