Fly Away
Chapter 1
Deadly Stars
The booming music pounded in my ears as I pushed through the tight crowd. Every sight and sound was new to me and I did not like it at all. You see, I’m the type of girl that sits home on a Saturday night and watches old episodes of Spongebob. I’m not exactly one to go dancing and get stoned every Friday night.
A drunken girl was sprawled out on the ground half naked. I shook my head at the sight. I stepped over and continued to yell out Jason’s name over the loud music. He seemed to be nowhere and I was really starting to get angry. First he takes me to a party that I don’t want anything to do with, second he just ditches me, and third he won’t even drive me home.
“Fvck it.” I yelled as I stormed away to the front of the house. I grabbed my hoodie and pulled it over my arms. I pushed the door open angrily and breathed in the fresh night air. Inside smelled like vomit and weed which in my opinion, is not a good mix. I ran down the steps, desperate to get away from here.
Dazed people sat on the lawn and in the road wondering where they were. I pulled out my phone and dialed Sam's number. Surely she would help me out. I waited patiently for her to answer her phone in the darkness. An odd feeling began to grow around me. I glanced to the street where a couple stood making out. The phone dropped on the cold cement. That can't be- no. Oh, God. A burning feeling coursed through my body like a shock of electricity. I felt my body begin to tremble.
"Jason?"
