I apologize for the incorrect answer! The actual answer is D. All of the above
How does frodo escape the Black Riders across the Ford to Rivendell? THE CORRECT ANSWER IS ALL OF THE ABOVE. i APOLOGIZE!
Hey, Bilbo is Frodo's uncle! How was that wrong? They are not cousins! You shouldn't have selected mix up questions and mix up answers it was very confusing. But good quiz anyway. I got a hundred percent if you don't count the 2 questions that had the wrong outcome! Yay!
Hmm according to sparknotes they are cousins???.......does it say in the book that Bilbo is his uncle? I don't remember. I'm going to redo this quiz and put the right answers. Thanks for the feedback
They were cousins. Primula Brandybuck (Frodo's mother ) was the Old Tooks youngest daughter and Bilbos cousin on his mother's side. Drogo ( Bilbo's father ) was Bilbo's second cousin on his father's. The confusion comes in from the movie. Frodo calls Bilbo his uncle in the third movie on the way to the Havens.
wow man im really bad at this lord of the rings crap
IT IS NOT CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
# 8 is really wrong frodo offers to take the ring to mordor not bilbo! duh!! and actually tom bombidils origens are known he is a maia. it is a little confusing but if u get a book called characters from tolkien and look up maia in it u will understand and know how he met his wife, goldberry.
Um, #37 in the answers (#18 in the quiz) is not altogether accurate. Aragorn finds a green stone on the bridge, left by Glorfindel, that tells him that it is safe to cross. The white stone with runes from Gandalf just tells him that Gandalf was there. If anything, that tells him that it was more dangerous, because it tells them that Gandalf had to leave suddenly and didn't dare leave a clearer message.
Most of the rest of the quiz was really neat.
Yeah, and besides, the stone from Gandalf was found at Weathertop, not on the bridge.
I did really like the one about who first offers to take the Ring. GREAT trick question! Love it!
Ok so bilbo won the ring in a battle of wits. Sam looked in to the mirror of Lothlorien. Number 8 is also wrong cuz bith in the book and movie Frodo offered 2 take the ring. Number 20 is also wrong. Gollum was a distant relation 2 the elves. He was part of the River folk. Number 22 is also wrong. Bilbo Baggins was the great uncle of Frodo Baggins. He was frodo's fathers uncle. Number 23 is wrong. Treebeard was not a willow tree. Number 36 is also wrong. Sam is still trying to find Frodo. DUH!!!!
The battle of the wits was so Gollum would lead him out, not that he would give him the Ring. Number 8 is right, because at the Council, Bilbo makes a comment about how he "started this affair, and [he] had better finish it".
Where did you get the thing about Gollum being related to the elves? He was once a hobbit (probably, the book is vague). No, Treebeard is not a willow, but, then, he didn't capture Merry in the Old Forest. Old Man Willow did. And to 36, what do you mean? I'm confused.
