emo is expressing yourself, just in your own way, the people who cut them selves and who need support they're emo (meaning emotional that's why they cut them selves) people who just dress the part but have no scars anywhere those r the posers. i'm sorta emotional, i can't cut myself because i know my parents would find out and send me away to a mental institute where i'll end up cutting myself even more. so what i do is i dig my nails in a far as i can with out accutally making myself bleed.
emotional people do it to get rid of pain that they can't just tell anybody and if will relieve them. it's mostly stuff they (including me) can't tell anybody. i dont' know what. but with me, i'm a little different, i don't have anything to tell anybody but i still feel like i'm hiding some big secret, but i just don't know what it is, and i want to tell somebody but i can't cause there is nothing to say. and i hate it.

Being emo has nothing to do with cutting urself!!! sure some emos cut themselves, but so do some preps, etc. There is nothing wrong with emos, but it is not good to think that your emo just cuz u cut! Not all emos cut or hurt themselves, but still they r emo. And being emotional has nothing to do with hurting yourself! it means u r intouch with ur feelings. Cutting is just a stereotype and it belongs to the minority of emos.

I hate how people say that all emo people cut themselves, and every who cut themselves are emo. GRAH It makes me wanna slap somebody! I really don't care if people cut but people make it like emo people are the only one's and most emo people do not cut anyways! A prep that used to sit beside me used to cut.
