well, i think the actors they picked werent that great. but i think the guy that played Durza was really cool. he was perfect 4 the part!!!!!! and i liked the person who played Brom too, he did good, i did like the guy who played Murtagh too, he was pretty cool, i wish they wouldve put him in for longer, cuz in the book him an eragon become friends after a long time, but the movie makes them friends overnight. personaly i didnt really like the actor they picked for eragon,srry, but i dont think
that he was a very good actor. like i noticed he didnt have very many facial expressions, he like made his face look the same all the time, or he had the wrong expression for the mood. idk who ur talkin about for Galbatorix, but they definetly couldve found someone better, probaly the actor u mentioned.
i didnt see how it would have been a problem to add some of the ppl they left out. actually i watched the extra features, and they did have a deleted scene w/ the twins, but i dont think they did
wow, yea i do agree that after u watch it a couple times it gets a little better...a little, but they did leave WAY too much stuff out. they also left out the cat, the dwarf, and the twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i liked those characters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(well not the twins, for obvious reasons) but they were important.
sorry, but i was truly upset and kinda mad when i saw it for the first time. seriously, i.....i dont even know how to say how i felt!!!!
Hey, it's ok, you don't need to apologize! :) I actually wasn't done with my comment, but I ran out of characters, and then my computer razzled out on me! I was gonna say that I understand your frustrations. Sometimes movies can really mess up a book. Like The Black Stallion movies are SO wrong! And yeah, I really missed the dwarf. :( I don't see why they cut some of those characters out. would it have really taken THAT mch longer? Oh well. I still love it. :) Do u like the actors?

I didn't really care for the actors chosen for Arya or Galbatorix. They weren't that impressive to me. The Sheriff from BBC's Robin Hood (keith allen) would've been the PERFECT Galbatorix! But I LOVED Ed Speleers and Garrett Hedlund as Eragon and Murtagh! They were amazing. And I also liked Brom. I believe his name is Jeremy Irons. Anywho, I liked them a lot. :)

Aw. I'm sorry. It was way off the book, and that bothered me, but once I shoved all that out of my head, I really enjoyed it for what it was. The first time I saw it I was like "Wrong...wrong...WRONG!" But once I knocked all the mistakes out of my brain it was better. I think it would've been a lot better had it not supposed to have been the book in movie form. Same thing with LOTR 2. I was dissapointed that they took so much out and changed it , but I finally got over it and it was a good movie
okay, im sorry to say this, but eragon was horrible!!!!!!!!! i was so looking forward to finaly watching it and i was terribly dissapointed!!!!:'(((((
