| About Me: | From this day on I am NO LONGER PARTIALLY BLONDE. I'm sure that got someone's attention. Anyway, I am an Ohioan but I do not live in Wooster (does that or does that not vaguely remind you of cows?) which is for SOME reason an actual name of an actual city in my actual state. In the actual country of the United States. Nice to meet you (though we haven't met)! I am called Eliza, and I live in a world where I do not exist. You cannot visit this world, because it resides within my head, and I cannot . . . HOLY FECES WHAT WAS THAT?! Oh, never mind. What were we talking about? I was staring out my bedroom window and my suspicious neighbor was walking down the street. I've been suspecting him for some time now. Anyway, I am fourteen, I particularly enjoy boycotting school buses and ignoring people, and I've become increasingly bad at arguing as of late. Which is a shame because I take pleasure in making my point. But who doesn't, right? Do I sound awesome or weird? Both terms are incorrect. |

That's one of the things that reminds me of a certain person. His cockiness combined with his flirtatiousness.
I kind of got the feeling sometimes that he almost meant it as a joke though? I don't know. I find it hard to explain what I mean, even though I know what I mean to say. Not to be cheesy, but I think "My thoughts are stars I can't fathom into constellations" is an appropriate quote at the moment. ;)

That's lovely! :) I finished it yesterday. I have a very complicated relationship with his character, though. I find it hard to explain. Like, the things he did, the things that made him who he was, I really admire and is the kind of thing I'd like in a boyfriend. (Like I'll ever get one. ;) Things like reading to Hazel as she falls asleep, and pretty much everything he did regarding Van Houten and things he made sure would happen for her posthumously is what I love about him....
I think, though, if he was a real guy I met in real life, I wouldn't overly like him (at least until I REALLY got to know him), because his personality is so much like a guy I've had some really bad experiences with. So I really like things he did, but his personality kind of disturbed me because of resemblances of real life people. Oh well.
Overall, lovely book, though. :)
