| About Me: | I feel I have to say this, as I'm tired of repeating it. Love/like/desire of blood doesn't make someone a vampire; it's the NEED to feed for one's own good health. Turning into things is bull. Garlic is preference, or not. Spontaneous combustion is possible, but walking into sunlight doesn't cause it. Anybody will die from a stake through the heart. Crosses only ward off evil; people aren't wholly evil. Anyone who thinks they're an immortal, reflection-less, fanged wall walker who can't go out in daylight needs to drop the sh*t or get help. It doesn't mean there aren't those who're, rather, _descriptively_ vampires because of conditions of sorts that make them so. The word "Vampire" is lousily used. Descriptions of people requiring blood to survive date back for centuries before Count V. Dracula was even born. Descriptions that come from many cultures around the world. Cultures that had no link to each other, given the time periods. So they had to have been based on common enough facts to be known so vastly. |
