hello there - thanks for the comment on my page, and thanks for the compliment on my elven quiz :). And to answer your question - yes, some of them did come from the Silmarillion, but also from LOTR, the Hobbit, the unfinished tale, the lost tales, red book of westmarch and so on and so forth -- I have, at one point, read everything he has written, so a lil bit come from all of his works :) (though i must say i cheated while making the quiz, I used a Tolkien reference dictionary to help me LOL)
haha, that's fair enough. I think I can forgive you. =P. That's great. I think I am the only one of my friends who likes LOTR- several went to watch the first movie, fell asleep, and never bothered to try again or read the books. Sacrilege!
Hello! Thanks for the comment. I do often use abbreviations and IM but at least I know how to spell correctly. There are so many people who can't spell the simplest words. It's a disgrace.
Totally agreed. Drives me insane. It's a sad comment of our society that often people who learn English as a second language are more correct than native English speakers. Ah, well. Not everyone can be as educated as us, I suppose. =P
