| About Me: | Hmm...What to say... Well. I go by Highlight or invisiblecat, whichever floats you boat. I like reading and writing and unicorns. I'm a whimsical person, and if you insult my whimsy I will throw sparkles at you metaphorically. I have an imaginary friend-cat named BK, and if you give him a waffle we may all end (More likely I'll give you a stern talking-to.) I also have a few REAL friends (at least, I'm pretty sure they're sentient! I haven't actually had them checked or anything) that float about, and I will defend them with my life and ponies, give or take a frying pan or twelve. Back from the hectic chaos! (Both boats broke down last night, so we had to swim out to the lake this morning...) I'm in mostly one piece (the boat ladder decided it didn't like me) and no one died (but my mom did crash a bike into the boat rack), and my friend's boyfriend no longer hates me (and in fact thinks I'm cool.) So I'd say the weekend was a success!
Glad no one died! Also glad about your friend's boyfriend- was he the same one you mentioned on Howrse a few times?
Probably. We've butted heads a few times, but now that we've spoken like civil people, I can see he's a nice guy and I understand why my friend puts up with him xD He's got a good sense of humour.

I have finally decided to stick the Locket Project on the backburners and am instead turning to my roots in short stories (Speaking of, I need to finish my Vinyl/Tavi sisterhood fic...) and have an idea I'm loving because its more poetic than anything...I'm breaking from comedy/whimsy as well and writing something dark and depressing. (Blame my dad. He gave me an awesome idea for an Ann Rand revival kind of story.)

Hehe, it's a genre you're good at, that's all! I love the Demonic story you have on here... so I'm sure this short story will be fantabulous! Not saying you're dark or anything... you're actually one of the people who eminate light in my life... but you do the writing very well. I'm excited to see how these work out!

Just posted the story. I'm leaving early so that dad isn't left alone. We're basically making sure he's never alone until his surgery so that nothing bad happens, especially since his heart's been acting up.
Please pray for him, and for me! (At this rate I might loose my sanity for real.)

I am under a table @ our cabin. I was desperate. We're watching the Olympics. Speaking of, was the opening ceremonies any good? I missed them since we're up at the cabin for the weekend.
I didn't watch them either (the joys of having no cable T_T)- but I heard that J K Rowling, Voldy's actor, and Paul McCartney were there! I'm gonna watch it on YouTube when I get some time.
That's what I've heard too. And apparently the actorfor James Bond was in it too. Hmm, good idea...youtube, here I come!

Yes, chaos is VERY good (most of the time). I managed to get in a lot of pony references without any of them noticing...It's a game I play with myself xD
Also, it RAINED ('What is this foreign liquid that is coming from the clouds?!' as my dad would say) and we danced/rolled down a hill/jumped around on a trampoline in it.
OMSC! Jumping on the trampoline in the rain is freakin' well AWESOME! (And MFOG at your dad's comment, by the way xD)
