(About you're political correctness I saw posted in a quiz comment recently.)
I find political correctness is offensive in itself.
Think about it, people get worried so much that what one says is going to offend someone, so the scramble around to reword it, even though the meaning is the same.
It is the context of how something is said that makes it offensive, not a word itself.
Besides, the words deemed offensive change over time.
