YOU'RE KIDDING RIGHT?
That would be horrible!!!
No..just because you're a parent does not make you responsible enough to drive a car. There are many irresponsible parents including many teenage parents. Irresponsible people make irresponsible drivers, so let's not force them onto the road.
Likewise, parents also don't have to have a driver's license to be responsible parents.
not that kind of license.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! To take such a simple freedom away from people is tyrannical. It's like saying that you need a license just to have even the smallest privacy
no but truth is were getting over populated =/
I would say 'Yes', but a licence isn't going to stop people from... well, doing 'that'. And whenever 'that' happens, you're going to have a chance of a kid. So, no.
Because then they'd take away accidental kids, and regulate too much, overstepping the boundaries and such..
Though, I do think you shouldn't have a kid you know you can't take care of.
this made no sense at all
Ideally, yes, requiring a marriage license would be nice since this country (the US) was originally based upon certain Christian principles. But I know that this is an imperfect world and the government should not be able to rule over every aspect of our lives so I would have to say no. But it would be nice, like everyone else is saying, to ensure that a couple is actually capable of being parents before deciding to have children.
No, of course not! Imperative biological processes for survival of a species should never be regulated by the government. That's sick and inhumane.
An IQ test, however... ;)
