At my school everyone's like, "How do you think we're gonna die?" Guy answers, "I don't know." First guy responds, "Ebola." And not in a joke kind of way. Most airports that Ebola could come through are around me but I doubt it will come.
wtf is ebola
I'm not scared at all.
It's been around for nearly 40 years killing people in different countries and the only reason it's spreading in places like Africa is because they don't have the medicine we do and we have stronger immune system than them (they're prone to diseases whereas we're not that much).
A new disease seems to spread every year and then you just stop hearing about it on the TV. It's nothing, really.
I doubt we will be affected much. Third world countries i feel bad for because it could spread there but as i am assuming we all live in the first world here......we are fine, if a nurse or charity worker comes back with it they will be quarantined
im kinda worried but then i live in america and america usually knows how to prepare for situations like these
I'd always laugh at it on the news, when its like some foolish story line someone made up, but then it supposedly got into my state three times already and by then there was no funny business
I don't know. Obviously, I don't want to get it, but from what I heard things don't seem too bad. Minimally frightened.
I am afraid, but chill about it at the same time because I know Ebola's not gonna hit Georgia, and if it does we'll just kick it's a**!
Not scared at all, tbh. In my school, Ebola is like a huge joke. And its to be expected, we're a bunch of teens who aren't really affected by it at all (my only connection is that my bio teacher's friend's brother has it). Everyone makes jokes about it though... It's pretty funny. Of course we don't think the dying is funny, but to us, it's a pretty unrealistic disease (like, bleeding from everywhere? What?) and it just isn't real to us. So that's my opinion...
I've only heard a little bit about the virus. My friend said that a man in texas got it, so he and his wife and kids got isolated in a room to die.
I also heard a rumor that scientists created it in a lab to decrease the world population.
Ebola is a virus that basically makes you bleed from everywhere. Your eyes, your ears.... Everything. It can only be contracted if you come into contact with an Ebola patient's bodily fluids (eg. vomit, blood...) Of course, they bleed a ton, so it isn't that hard... And that rumor is false, just another conspiracy theory. It was not made, humans aren't even creative enough to do that. And you shouldn't really worry about it until a solid 20 or so people in your country have either gotten it. :
