i have read, like, 300+ books this year? cuz some days i read 3 books a day and i go to the library once every week
What kind of books are you reading? I know a lot of readers on Goodreads and some bloggers who literally don't even have TV and spend all day just reading only get to about 170 a year.
I probably have read around 5. DX I've taken a break from reading, sadly. I need to get back into it!
I've read about 8. My goal on Goodreads was to read 9 books this year, I usually ask someone in the room to give me a random number, where ever I'm at and that's how I get the goal.
What is your screen name there? Do you mind being friends there?
No, of course not!
If you just go on Goodreads and type in /YourGothicNightmare in the url it'll come up. ^^
Oh and I agree with the reviews. Some hilarious ones on Morrissey's autobiography, if you listen to his music.
My memory is sooo bad but probably 20+, not sure though. I've been reading a lot less this year 😩
One year I read over twenty for sure, I can't remember the exact number now though... I ussd to keep a list
Last year I read 74! I've only read 44 so far this year though. . . .
Sadly, I've only read four this year. I haven't had any spare time it seems.
I know how that feels! 2013 was one of my worst book years - I only read three. DX But every little bit counts with reading! I carry books around with me and read in the spare few minutes before classes start just so I can get some in.
I don't really count the amount of books I've read, and my memory is terrible butI have all of the books at home so I tried to figure out which ones I read this year. I counted 11 books and I'm currently reading a book but I didn't count it because I haven't finished reading it yet
My memory is pretty terrible too! I have to write it down somewhere, or I'll never remember it. I was thinking about a book series the other day, thinking it had been years since I'd read them - until I realised I had read it at the beginning of this year. I wrote it down on my list and everything. Dx I keep reading lists of the books that I've read so far in a year, or I'd never know which ones I'd read!
Ahah, I am the biggest critic I know. I'm critical towards others, but I'm an even bigger critic towards myself. I get annoyed if I see spelling, punctual or grammatical mistakes. If I see it in mine, I feel like I HAVE to change it immediately. Gawd, have you taken those WYYFF quizzes online? So many of them have appalling English language conventions. I made a WWYFF series on here, but gosh...it like, hurts my eyes to see so many errors.
Ahah, I actually thought I read 'what' anyway. After all, our vrains can process each word in sentences easily - instead of singular letters in each word. ^_^
Probably so, though I do much better if the whole thing is that way, like those reposts of oddly written words. But for me, spelling & grammar stand out - the moment there's an error, it pops out as well as if it were written in red with lights on. Though it's great for editing, it kills stories for me - just pulls me right out of the action/moment once I read an error. Then it's all I can focus on. My English teacher last semester said the same thing & I was so happy to meet another like me. XD
I actually recently made a quiz about some visual novels. :D Here's the link: http://www.quibblo.com/quiz/k01Z74D/Which-Voltage-Inc-Game-is-For-You - this one is a quiz suggesting which one you should play. I've also made prologue synopses of each result here: http://www.quibblo.com/quiz/k07hpKs/Voltage-Inc-Visual-Novels-Prologue-Summaries...I'd be grateful if you have a look at both and leave me a comment of what you think. :)
