I haven't, but I'd be disowned if I got pregnant or if I hadn't been straight. I'd be kicked out of the house.
my sister! Because she thinks my life is better than hers. she doesnt like that I lost all my baby weight after having a baby
My grandmother frequently unofficially disowns various family members if they fall out of her favor. I was "disowned" a couple of years ago for not saying good morning to her and disowned again (along with my sister and mother) last winter for telling her to get out of my house after I got sick of her insulting me and my family. She seems to have gotten over it. She's just bored and likes a good fight.
Not by a family member, thankfully. I mean, I have a pretty crazy/complicated family, but despite all the issues that have come up we've all still managed to stay on good terms. Fingers crossed it will stay like that!
On the other hand, I have been recently "disowned" by a friend. I thought we were really close, so it was kind of surprising to see that she doesn't want anything to do with me anymore. :/
Wow. That's pretty intense. Taking her choice out on you? That's pretty low, but I've seen just as bad in person.
My father disowned me because I cheated, am divorcing my husband, and chose not to give the name of who I cheated with... In a sense I deserve it, but it still sucks. There are a lot of issues that brought me to it, and surround it. And everything furthers my choice. A lot of this I never thought I was capable of doing, but here I am: doing it.
I'm my mom's least favorite because I was concieved out of wedlock. so yeah....she basically doesn't care for me as much and favors my sister and enjoys making me miserable...
