Optimisim and a change in our mindsets can probably make this happen. If we as individuals are not willing to change we cannot blame the world for not doing the same.
No, because of organized religion.
As much as world peace is and has been a goal set by many for centuries, it is simply not achievable. With 7 billion people on this planet, it is impossible to please everybody. Even the most minor of differences amongst us (each of our differences that we have been taught to appreciate and love about ourselves), can create even the smallest form of prejudice, discrimination and violence.. There are too many lives, too many contrasts to prevent violence and war.
I don't believe that world peace is an achievable goal. It's unrealistic to think that politicians can put behind them past conflicts and differences. I believe that without evil there could be no good; the world would be stuck in a state of neutral that isn't good nor bad. It wouldn't be an ideal global environment and I don't believe that world peace is achievable.
It's true we probably won't Human nature pursues strife Religion, ideology, resources, land, spite, love or just because. No matter how pathetic the reason, it's enough to start a war.
I think there is hope for peace, but first, everyone has to set aside differences and acknowledge others with an open mind. No one will ever be happy with everyone.
NO way! there is always gonna be something that someone wants to fight about, then war will begin again and there will never be world peace!
Sadly no. I which there wasn't war because now I'm kind of always afraid Isis is gonna make it to America. and like Astridlocks said below me. World Peace would mean 1 Language, 1 Currency, 1 ruler and Man doesn't settle for anything they always need everything. It's all of our greedy natures that we're born with.
nope. man always wants to rule. The nations of the world never agree with each other. There will have to be one currency, one ruler, and one language. I think war will always be around.
Nope. Religion does not call for peace. Politics do not call for peace.
