Can you pass this tricky Pink Floyd quiz?
Q 14...cont'd...This effect has often been called Dark Side of the Rainbow. Arguably, playing any two media together will produce an impression of a striking amount of coincidence (an effect known as apophenia). Therefore, I should get credit as any album would make a good guess...nevertheless, I'm going to get the OZ movie and try it !!
I have to disagree with Q #14. Wiki has a very good explanation from a reliable source that the band had no intention to match up Dark Side with the movie: When the album is played simultaneously with the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, numerous images from the film appear to synchronise with the music and lyrics. All band members (save Roger Waters) and engineer Alan Parsons have firmly stated that the phenomenon is a coincidence. This effect has often been called Dark Side of the Rainbow...
I'm humbled by the things I didn't know, or couldn't remember! I am making up some PF quizzes here too and they'll get tougher each time...Shine On!

Just in case you were wondering Echoes is my favorite song by them and also is my favorite song ever! the full version (not the shorter greatest hits version) is on the album Meddle you should pick it up if you don't have it already. Peace!
