How Many Ringbearers Are There In The Lord Of The Rings Series
hey owl boy do you love owls because i do! i love the book series Gaurdians of Ga'hoole! did u ever read it because it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OWLS ROCK!!!!!!!
I included deagol because he actually found the ring after it was lost.
Hmm... I forgot about Isildur! With him, the people who carried the ring for an extensive period of time are (I think): Sauron, Isildur, Smeagol/Gollum, Bilbo, Frodo, and Sam. Who's the seventh?
Tom Bombadil, Gandalf, and Deagol pretty much just touched the Ring. I don't think they count as Ringbearers, because they never carried it or felt its power especially.
If my above statement is true, then I count five, Smeagle, Frodo, Bilbo, Isildur, and Sauran.
I think you would have to have worn the ring before to be a ring-bearer?
i agree i do think you have to read it.
I think that technically there were only six, but I figured that you were counting Deagol, so I did guess seven. I agree with Cirandriel that you could possibly add Gandalf and Tom Bombadil, simply because they also handled it. That's about all that Deagol ever did.
I cant remember what his name was but it was smeagol`s friend. You might argue that he wasnt a ringbearer but for me he found it and smeagol stole it from him.
opps, forgot Sam...
Who are the other two? I count five...
Sauron, Isildur, Golum, Bilbo, Frodo. Gandalf, Galadriel and Tom Bombadil handled the Ring but were not ringbearers. Unless you count the 3 elvish rings then you would add, Gil Galad, Elrond, Galadriel, Cirdan, and Gandalf.
I GOT IT RIGHT!!!
