Tunnel Vision (a poem~)

Just thought I'd post a poem of mine on here. I don't expect a lot of people to read it or maybe even comprehend it. It's a poem about tunnel vision, those people we meet that only see what they want to see. I hope you like it!

Chapter 1

Tunnel Vision

by: GezRii00
They look right past me.
Those eyes see past me.
Although convinced those eyes are
Thinking they see through me.
The eyes analyze every
Movement, word, and sound,
Trying to detect something
That is not there.
But they exist in those eyes.
Because those eyes see what they want to see only.
And when that is not possible,
They conjure something they they want to see.
But those eyes do not conjure good no more.
No. They do not conjure dreams, care, and happiness.
They conjure fear, loneliness, and tears.
Those eye want reason, any reason.
Even if it is completely false.
Those eyes are blind.
