Part 12!:D Enjoy!

Chapter 1

Life Sucks And Then You Die

I don't know how long I was out, but I was hoping not too long. When I came to, I was on a bed. The room was dimly lit. I looked around. Wait a minute. This is MY room. How did I get back here? I tried to get up but fell off the bed, my ankle staying on it. I put my hand on my ankle and felt a shackle. Ah, what the hell? First, I'm kidnapped, then I'm shackled? Could this get any worse? Shouldn't have asked. I heard my door creak open slowly and I quickly got back on the bed. Someone walked in, but I couldn't tell who.

"Hello, _ ." they said. I recognized that voice.
"Mom?" "Yes sweetie."
"What the fvck's going on?"
"Language check, young lady. You see, ever since Brad was arrested, I've been so lonely. I saw you were living in a house of boys and that just won't do. I watched you for weeks and this storm was the perfect time to bring you home. Now, we can live together forever. We can have special mommy/daughter bonding time."

She was so calm. And mentally unstable. I needed to get out of here. Thunder cracked and lightning flashed outside. I tried to look calm, but inside I was freaking out. Mom patted my leg. "I'll go get some food and we can talk." She smiled and left.

I had to get out of here and fast. I opened my bedside drawer and found some bobby pins and paper clips. I used to the pick the lock on the shackle. After seven paper clips and three bobby pins, I finally picked it. And just in time too. I heard her coming up the stairs. I ran over to my window and opened it. I started climbing out. It was very slippery. I was moving fast, but careful.

About halfway down, I heard my mom say, "_ ! Get back here, young lady!" I looked up and her and screamed, "Stay away from me!" "If you don't get back here right now, you're grounded!" I didn't listen and kept going down. I was about five feet off the ground when I lost my grip and fell to the ground. I landed on my right hip. "Ahh!" I yelled. "That's it! I'm coming down there!" my mom shouted.

Despite the very sharp pain in my hip, I got up and ran. I ran into the forest like I did the last time I ran away from home. I was soaking wet from the rain. I slipped when I got a little into the forest. I must've landed on my hand wrong when I tried to break my fall because I heard a snap when it hit the ground. I shrieked in pain. I just broke my wrist. Great. I think I was crying, but I wasn't sure. It could've just been rain. I got up, pain shooting through my body with every move. But I just ran.

After what felt like forever, I reached the edge of the forest. I saw the drive-in. I'm close. I ran through it, holding my wrist. I was limping slightly because of my hip. I finally got to the lot. Even closer. It was raining as hard as ever. After a few more minutes of running, I reached the Curtis house. I ran up the front steps and burst through the door. I stood in the doorway.

"_ !" someone shouted. I looked up and saw Ponyboy running towards me. He pulled me into a tight hug. I was breathing heavily and didn't have enough energy to even get my arms around him. The other guys came into the living room. Various "_ 's!" were shouted. "What happened to you? We've been so worried!" Ponyboy said holding the sides of my face. He was practically screaming to be heard over the storm.

"I... I..." I looked Ponyboy in the eye, my eyes wide. "I can't breathe." I felt my body hit the ground. "Someone call an ambulance!" Ponyboy shouted. My body went numb and I blacked out.

Ponyboy's P.O.V.

I was sitting on my bed, tears running down my face. _ had been missing for hours and hours. I knew something was wrong when she didn't come back into the store. I keep hoping she's okay. Suddenly, I heard the front door fly open and hit the wall. I figured it was just the storm blowing it open. I went downstairs and stopped dead in my tracks at the bottom of the stairs. _ was standing there, soaking wet.

"_ !" I shouted. She looked up and I ran toward her. I grabbed her into a tight hug. I could hear her heavy breathing. The rest of the guys walked in the room and all said "_ !"

"What happened to you? We've been so worried!" I said. I had to scream to be heard over the storm.

"I... I..." She had a worried look on her face when she looked me in the eyes. "I can't breathe." And she fell to the ground. I fell to my knees next to her. "Someone call an ambulance!" I shouted. Sodapop grabbed the phone and dialed. I pulled her into my lap. "_ , _ , stay with me!"

She was barely breathing. I started crying again. The ambulance needed to hurry. It finally arrived and they carried her into it on a stretcher. They wouldn't let me get in too.

"Please let me go with her! I'm her boyfriend and I wanna be with her!" I said. They agreed and I got in the back with her. I held her hand while they put an oxygen mask on her. I looked out the window of the ambulance and saw the guys following in Dally's car.

We finally arrived at the hospital and they carried her in. As much as I wanted to, I knew they wouldn't let me go with her, so I stayed in the waiting room with the guys. I couldn't sit still. I was pacing back and forth the whole time. After what felt like forever, the doctor came out. I rushed over to him. "Is she okay? What's going on?" I asked. "She has a broken wrist and a bruise on her hip. And there was something around her ankle that caused permanent bruising. All that running she did in the cold rain caused her asthma to act up too, but she's back to breathing normally." the doctor said. I couldn't even cry anymore. "Will be she okay?" "Yes. After a few tests and whatnot. She should be able to leave by next week." "Thank God."

The doctor went back into the room and I sat next to Darry and Sodapop. "I didn't know _ had asthma." Sodapop said. "Neither did I." I said. I wonder why she didn't mention she had asthma. No matter, I couldn't believe this. I had just gotten out of the hospital and _ was in here now. The nurse came over to us and said, "I'm sorry, but visiting hours are over. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to leave." She went back to the front desk. I didn't want to leave _ , but I had no choice. We all got into Dally's car and drove home. It was really late when we got home. I was exhausted, I went straight up to my room and collapsed on my bed, hoping _ would be okay.

The Next Week

_ should be coming home soon. I missed her so much. I missed her face, her personality, everything. Darry was on his way to get her. I couldn't wait for them to get back.

Darry's P.O.V.

I pulled into the hospital parking lot. I was picking up _ . We were all glad she was coming home today. Ponyboy has been a wreck since she's been here. He rarely left his room and barely ate. I walked in and up to the front desk. "Hello. I'm here to get _ _ ." The nurse looked at me, then at a clipboard with tons of patients' names on it. "_ has already been picked up." she said. "That's impossible. I was supposed to get her. Did you look under the right name?" I asked very confused. "Yes, I'm positive." "Well, who picked her up?" "According to this, her aunt." "Her aunt?" "Yes, sir." I couldn't even speak. I practically ran to my car and rushed home. I ran into the house.

"Where's _ ?" Sodapop asked.
"Apparently her aunt picked her up from the hospital."
"I thought the hospital established you were going to?"
"That's what I thought." "Well, what are we gonna tell Ponyboy?"
"I don't know."
"You already told me." Sodapop and I turned and saw Ponyboy standing in the hallway.
"I'm not gonna see her again, am I?" he asked. I could tell he didn't want those words to come out of his mouth.
"No, you'll see her again. I promise." I said. Ponyboy just turned and went back to his room. I felt anger build up inside me and I kicked the door causing a small hole. _ will find a way back here. I know she will.

Regular P.O.V.

"Where am I?" I asked myself. I was on a bed, but it wasn't the hospital's or Ponyboy's. I sat up, feeling lightheaded.. My hip and wrist hurt. I looked at my left wrist. There was a cast on it. I swung my legs over the bed and a sharp pain went through my hip. I got up and walked over to the mirror I saw in the corner. I took off my shorts, leaving me in my underwear and t-shirt. I looked at my hip. There was a bruise about the size of my fist on it. I just stared at it for a minute, then put my shorts back on.

I looked out the window. This didn't look like Tulsa. At all. I was about to freak out. I heard talking downstairs. I opened the door, went to the stairs and peered down them. I saw three people in the living room. I quietly started walking down the stairs, but halfway down, one of them creaked and the three of them looked at me. "Hello _ ." an older woman said. I looked at them for a second and realized I was related to them. "Auntie? Uncle? Mir?" I said. "Yes, sweetie." Auntie said. I just called them Auntie and Uncle. I called Miranda, Mir.

I was having a panic attack in my mind. If I was with my aunt, uncle and cousin, that means I'm nowhere near Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was in Cunningham, Kansas.
