Dont forget to....
~As Long As You're Mine~
I laugh and cover his mouth with my hand. "You know I love when you sing but people are staring. You can't sing Aladdin songs on a plane."
Ryan licks my hand and I quickly retract it away from his tongue's reach. "I can do whatever I want."
I roll my eyes but can't help but smile. Ryan has that effect on people. His smile is the kind that actually seems to brighten the room. "Whatever."
"Aw you know you want to sing with me," he says, nuzzling my neck.
I grin and kiss him. "Maybe."
Ryan kisses me back, humming a show tune as his lips eagerly press onto mine. He pulls away and sings the words that go along with the tune, pointing to me all the while. "One. Singular sensation, every little step she takes!" I feel my face redden as people turn to watch. No one protests, and why would they? Ryan's voice is like his smile, warm and fulfilling. But Ryan doesn't seem to be able to recognize this. When we found out we'd gotten the parts on Broadway I'd been thrilled but not very surprised. Ryan still can't believe it, and he says that quite frequently.
"One. Thrilling combination, every move that she makes! One smile and suddenly nobody else will do. You know you'll never be lonely with you know who!" Ryan tickles my chin. The place where he touched me tingles long after he's removed his hand.
The plane takes off and the cabin grows a bit more talkative now that Ryan has ceased singing. "I think everyone's disappointed that their in-flight show has stopped," I tell Ryan as he grasps my hand tightly.
"Ah, we'll have to remedy that!" he exclaims, kissing me lightly. "What should we sing? Wait! I know." He gets a devilish smile on his face and hums the opening accompaniment part.
"Oh no," I say, but I'm still smiling.
He nods. "Oh yes."
I give in and sing,
"Kiss me too fiercely,
Hold me too tight,
I need help believing
You're with me tonight
My wildest dreamings could not foresee
Lying beside you with
You wanting me, and
Just for this moment
As long as you're mine
I've lost all resistance
And crossed some borderline
And if it turns out, it's over too fast
I'll make every last moment last,
As long as you're mine."
Ryan smiles and strokes my hair as he takes over,
"Maybe I'm brainless
Maybe I'm wise
But you've got me seeing
Through different eyes
Somehow I've fallen
Under your spell,
And somehow I'm feeling
It's up that I fell"
I join in, our eyes locking on each other's.
"Every moment, as long as you're mine,
I'll wake up my body and
Make up for lost time"
Ryan has a little solo,
"Say there's no future for us as a pair.."
Then I join in again,
"And though, I may know, I don't care
Just for this moment, as long as you're mine
I'll be how you want to and see how bright we shine
Borrow the moonlight until it is through,
And know I'll be here holding you"
Ryan leans in and kisses me before finishing. "As long as you're mine," he whisper sings. A few people in the seats around us clap. Ryan squeezes my hand and I feel as though nothing could go wrong.
"You know what?" Ryan says, "I think if we sing too much it's going to jinx us. I think we should make a pact."
I laugh, "A pact? Is this another one of your crazy superstitions?"
"Are you gonna make the pact or not?" He's gazing at me so intensely I have no choice but to nod my head. "Good so, our pact is that we.."
The 'fasten seatbelts' light goes on. I see a few passengers look as confused as I feel. "We can't be there already," Ryan muses quietly, pulling the strap of his seatbelt.
"Ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking. We'll be experiencing some turbulence soon. Nothing major but please be prepared."
Ryan must see my nervous face because he smooths my hair down and kisses my nose. "Anyways, where were we when the captain decided to interrupt?"
"You were telling me about your pact," I tell him, holding tightly to his hand as our plane bumps around a bit.
"Ah yes. The pact. Neither of us will sing until we reach the stage."
"Okay, I can do that."
"So that way when we sing again it will be on the stage together, just like our dreams."
I nod, "I won't sing without you."
Ryan holds up his right hand. "I, Ryan Hemsworth, solemnly swear to never sing again until we're onstage." He looks at me expectantly. "Your turn."
I hold my hand up. "I, Brooke Farrow, solemnly swear to not sing until we are together onstage."
Ryan grins. "I, Ryan Hemsworth, solemnly swear I'm up to no good." He kisses me again as the plane hits the biggest bump yet. A few people scream.
"This is your captain. We appear to be having engine troubles. Please remain calm while we prepare for emergency landing."
I grip Ryan's hand. "Engine troubles?"
Ryan shrugs. "We'll be fine. I solemnly swear it."
The plane begins to dive. It's going a lot faster than it should, even I know that. "Ryan? I love you," I tell him.
He rolls his eyes, "You are oh so dramatic. But I love you too."
The plans accelerates more and now even Ryan looks worried. "Brooke Farrow, I love you. Thats part of the pact too. You remember that. I love you with all my heart. Forever."
That is the last word Ryan Hemsworth ever says to me.
Brooke Farrow. Average height and weight. Long, wavy, dark brown hair. Green eyes. Faithful, stubborn, passionate. Enjoys writing.
Okay, I know I already have 3 stories going and that's normally all I do at one time but inspiration for this hit me around midnight and I just can't shake it so I'm writing it. Besides, I'll be finishing my Death Eater story soon so then I'll just be back to three. Thanks for reading and don't forget that I appreciate my comments the way Umbridge appreciates you texting her back.
How daaaaare you!-TylerBrunsman
